I put the ele rotation in a spreadsheet and I got a lower number than with a mage pressing one button. On top of that it also runs out of mana immediately due to fire nova.That said, I do like them replacing fire nova totem with fire nova design wise. In pvp it makes the fire totem an actual threat, because with 500 sp only lava burst deals more damage than it, and even that not by much. But it looks like ele needs about 30% more damage to catch up with others. Not sure how the tuning can be off by that much.

Since we're seemingly discussing nerfs/buffs, interesting question: Should professions be nerfed? Right now if you actually put in some time to level mining/blacksmithing as warrior/paladin, you can actually make some really good gear especially for levels 15-30 where gearing slows down a bit. I actually think its pretty cool but I've seen people complain that it makes the game 'too easy'.

This is going to heavily reduce the amount of dungeon groups, and if this makes it as it to live, you'll start to notice it by the time you level your alts. This will especially hit dungeons with few quests hard. Think something like RFD or SM for alliance. SM especially was something you'd run multiple times as alliance, because it was a bother to run there. Now you'll just skip it completely.The issue is that they're using a sledgehammer for fixing these things (see how they completely killed rage at first, then noticed whoops warriors have no rage, better give them some more after all, also see penance). You could've solved the whatevercleave issue with a 20% exp reduction. It's not like leveling in dungeons was particularly fast in classic (were the first 60s dungeoning? nah). We're not playing in some kind of fantasy where you walk away from each run with 2 upgrades. Leather classes have to compete with half of the other classes for half of the game.
