Unlike Engage, Fortune's Weave barely counts as a Fire Emblem game as it is a NTR simulator and a bloated exhausting slog full of brown people that will chew up your free time and spit out pure frustration. So many of the FW units you recruit are undercooked nobodies with barely any supports. Late recruits come in with garbage stats thanks to autoleveling and aren't worth the renown grind it took to unlock them. The overarching Balor plot is generic end of the world bs that feels disconnected from the tournament stuff, and the avatar is a blank slate with zero personality. Supports are sparse for anyone who isn't in the core squad, and the game doesn't even properly tell you about half the stuff you can miss.

The worst part about FW is how fucking awful the UI and key information to make decisions is. Just got 1 shot by a magic balista where the guys attack mys said 50. Turns out thats 50 with his current spell equipped, the balista has 10 more might so its actually 60 damage. I had to figure that out by looking at might of the ballista on the map, going into the menu to see his actual magic state, then comparing that to the damage I took that killed me and my units res.
