Arguing that Pink is thematically irrelevant or poorly written is literal nonsense. A character discovering herself in fiction and having to learn to coexist with that fiction instead of obliterating it and subsuming it into her own personality (thereby completely destroying the fantasy she found herself in to begin with) is a fascinating spin on Deltarune’s whole focus on the layering of reality and the value of art/fantasy/lower, derivative levels of that layered existence.

Honestly I see nothing wrong with the weird route's philosophy. It's quite satisfying making Noelle stronger and freer and actually getting somewhere with her character and the story. It's going to be a bit awkward when the game tries to make me feel bad for it.

I'm writing my own srpg and realized that really the most enticing characters I've ever seen in video games are from Deltarune, and I should study them to figure out why they're so interesting. I still haven't finished Chapter 5.
