It is very technically proficient and visually appealing, and they work very efficiently with fast turn around times. These people take over the art departments and then get control of the storylines, settings, and characters.If you ask these people to write a story or develop a character, they cannot. They have not read great works of literature, they have not seen classic films, they don't listen to good music, they have not even seen and studied foundational paintings and sculptures. They have only watched anime and got really really good at fanart figure drawing on their Wacom tablets. Nothing informs their world view other than a form of media with the most surface level and purile stories imaginable.
