Is this how the game is supposed to look? The shadows seem unnaturally dark for the time of day, and every tree and bush has an almost reverse bloom effect where it's really dark in and around it, it looks quite bad. Playing with HDR and most settings maxed if that makes any difference.

Lesser demons and snowfoots are literal pushovers if you are playing trickster. Use dragon's delusion to drop them on their knees, then just push them until they fall over. This might require the impact augment.

The level 20 recommendation is the cherry on top, a level 20 player is going to be one-shot by the corrupted goblins, let alone the chimera. Don't know if the quest is less demented on normal though.

Unmoored Lost Rites gear is actually really strong. It beats out Ancient Level 5 gear in terms of pure stats while being completely unupgraded. The skills on relics are too good to pass up but this stuff isn't a complete downgrade like I thought it'd be.

I just went into the DLC at level 40 and thank god I had really high level friend list pawns with me because I was doing practically no damage to the initial enemies. I assume the base game level up rate has been increased because it feels like that was aimed at an old version level 40 where you'd be quite late game.

Mystic Spearhand really does feel unwieldy and unintuitive. On Hard Mode things just stun you out of anything requiring a charge.
Been theorycrafting how to make an archer pawn work using 2x ring of predominance (instead of reversal+benevolence). Obviously with battle frenzy IV+. Right now my pawn is doing double the DPS of other archer pawns, but needs support. So far what I'm thinking of is:Bow: aggressive recovery (heal from attacking)Chest: Intact fortitude+ (80% less damage when hit at full HP)Legs: Spectral feint+ (50% chance to avoid damage)My thought is that if the pawn can top itself up on HP, it will keep Intact fortitude and the rings active. Damn, that was fucking kino. Warrior feels so much better in Dark Arisen, actually feels really damn nice. I got Charge Attack on my Chest Armor and my Sword and my Attacks are almost instant which is insane. The new Warrior skills and Warrior upgraded skills feel fucking awesome and easily patch up several warrior holes. The dungeons were awesome and the world design is leagues better than Vermund. The way gear works is also infinitely better. No longer is it just "lol spend money to buy the best gear", now I actually find myself trying to explore everything and kill everything worth killing.And the more skills defintely make the vocations feel so much fucking better.Just wish Mystic Knight was back.

I tried it out on a few rift rounds and giga Satan, and while I managed to beat him eventually it felt so slow compared to my usual MSH runs.The worst part is having to charge up attacks on teleporting bosses like the Barbatos and Satan and whiffing. I was basically spamming the shit out of Steel/Titanic Cleave since it doesn't have a charge up and gets some distance in from the run. Blood Pact + Arc of Might feels really great to use, but then I have 0 stam afterwards and it takes forever to regen since Warrior has not way to quickly regen stam unlike MSH or Sorc.

I thought about making a "Tome tier-list for Trickster" but I felt I was being too niche and autistic, the summary was basically Phantasmal Tome has a 50% chance to refund Tomes on use, Trickster wants Anodyne tomes to counter undead and to heal Pawns the bare minimum to recast Aromatic Resurgence, and once they get the Arcane Wisdom, they can start hiring in "ranged sustain" vocations, stuff like Mage with Deific Bolt or Archers. A good trickster party comp is Warrior + Archer + Mage. Ironically, Archer will soak up all the aggro, allowing Warrior to charge big their hits, and mage can cycle between Deific Bolt spam and Argent spam automatically.
