You had to CC something or the mage + the MS grug would kill you. If you tried to kite you'd get slowed and the warrior would charge you and stack his sunders. If you pulled thee packs at once you wouldnt have enough taunts to keep the aggro drops mobs controlled and the healer would die.or you'd have two out of three high damage archers killing off your dps cus you never got solid aggro on all of them.the packs used to be deisgned as cohrenent combat groups to counter the party and you had to have a plan to kill them and if you tried to fight 3+ of them at once you'd lose because their cards would overwhelm your counter play with debuffs, CC and loose damage.No tank can survive a triple stacked 50% healing debuff, so if you wanna pull three packs you better keep CC up two of the bruisers.

I think it'd be interesting if they tried to experiment with having those long duration cc abilities apply some kind of stacking vuln, sort of like how ccing the ghost dogs on Huntsman Altimor worked. That way not only could groups cc a troublesome mob, but then when you finally switched to it suddenly it's taking 30% extra damage and you can quickly burn it down.

Instead of doing a dungeon with your friends for the memory of having beaten the dungeon with your friends and getting loot so you can do harder dungeons with your friends, you run the same dungeon 50 times with people you will never know in order to inflate your ego number. Anything that slows down this epeen pump inflation process is see as a problem and irritation.These are the same people who see leveling in an RPG as a tedious chore before the real game. they don't care about the growth of a character over time. They have no story or path taken. None of that can be flexxed to make their epeen bigger and mog people. No one cares that you have a purple weapon at level 17, even though its kinda remarkable. No one can be "mogged" by a lowbie, zoomers do not care about anything until they can start flexxing because what they think the game is about.Unironically this is the one redeeming quality of modern raiding. We defeated fan-favorite creatures like nerubians and Xala'tath is written so well she's basically the best villain we've ever had. And now, finally, with Midnight we revisited old beloved zones in the Eversong Woods and Zul'Aman, and brought the spotlight back to the Blood Elves, the most popular race in the game with the highest playerbase. These 3 expansions have also been host to a number of incredible systems that have refreshed the endgame experience, like Delves, hero class talents, and a host of stunning new races.I don't get it.
