It's complicated to explain what's wrong with chocobo racing. I think I already explained last time I tried to post about this game, but you're slippery as fuck, even without drifting. And the most annoying thing is the drifting itself: do it for too long, and your character will spin in place, losing all their speed. You can accelerate during that spin to get a boost, but I think you're not meant to spin to begin with, and the boost is a mechanism to lift the penalty.I think I have a webm around, I'll post it.

I want to talk about Final Fantasy summons. What is your favorite and do you have a specific design that is your favorite? I really hope the next game uses some more under utilized ones rather than the usual Shiva/Ifrit/Bahamut. I think that was a real weakness of FF16 personally. For me, I really like Bismark. I think whales are cool and I really liked FF14's flying Bismark because but I think the fucked up weird shark/ship version of it from Mirage is really neat.
