A fic about the exploration team in the void or on the DSS when things went tits up would be great. A story from the perspective of a SEAF battalion would also be great, like on cyberstan when we rescued that one regiment that was encircled and about to be overrun. You could also do stuff from the perspective of the squids or bots, like a story from the perspective of an overseer during the invasion of super earth. Helldivers is very rich in terms of world building, but it isn't immediately obvious how to work it into a story.
