Penelo was mostly there for pure healing and cracking heads during non-boss battle. Time Mage will also work since Berserk & Haste will benefit your attackers a lot, I just let Balthier handle buffing since I never really like having a single character handle both healing and buffing (I remember my Berserk'd Basch with Genji Gloves killing the final boss in not even 2 minutes). Honestly, as long as you have a coherent idea of what you want to do, there's not much in the main game that can be a huge problem. FF Jobs have always been very flexible on that regard.

Sadly I fuck up and send a half-dead team against him, so one mog bravely gives his life to defend Terra.I have no idea why mogs came out of the blue to defend Terra and I'm dead sure these are the same mogs in FFXIV that resurrect Good King Moggle Mog XII. Amusingly enough, they all have their own animations, through it's pretty clear that 7 of these mogs are just extras and only "Mog" is a real character.Also I really liked that part, even if Mogs came out of nowhere and left to nowhere after assassinating a militia commander in cold blood. That was very neat and I hope there's more stuff like that later.

For people who actually played Brave Exvius, just how big was it. I checked on the characters to see what assets from Resonance could I expect from it and I found out it had thousands of units. Was it really big and long, or did it just release characters constantly? I shudder to think how playing it worked if new premium units were dropping all the time and I suddenly understand why the game is just the first season of the gacha.

The normal crossover events like FF7R where you grind currency is also one shottable.The real endgame content is this montly bossfight called Clash of Wills where you have to kill it within 10 turns. The bosses are significantly more complex than usual, so you would need more specific units for your clears. If you're a whale, you can usually pull the unit that comes with that month's CoW. They're practically tailor made for that fight. A F2P has to be a bit more reserved with their currency.
For any who played BE and beat Resonance, what did you think of it? I never played BE.Also, how big would Arc 2 be? I can't see Square greenlighting five games of this while the Remake whiners complain about a trilogy that came out over the course of only 7 years.
