Has anyone figured out how “pity hires” work yet? I got like 5-6 yesterday from players with no steam info or accessible profiles a few hours after spending like 12k RC hiring higher level pawns and more from mass appraisals. I assume these are pity hires due to the lack of info, anyway. This is a bit unusual for me since my pawn usually gets 3-5 hires a day from actual players.

I just fought a Norgan giant with two warrior pawns, great gear, good weapons. They both went down 4 times each.What the fuck is wrong? Arcanist is a solid specialization but you get it too late. Just going from the sold books because nobodys actually going to farm Empyrean and Maelstroms, pawns will pretty much always rush over to cast Halidom (bad for pawns like Archer that would be better off staying away and shooting more arrows), use Levin on flying enemies (good for Fighters and Warriors that can't hit flying enemies very well, bad for Archers that should just be shooting arrows), and use Solemnity on any caster. Frigor and Flagration, they only really pull out against enemies that are noticeably weak to ice/fire or if an enemy is tarred/wet. This would pair really well with Archer's status arrows except in the endgame, you're rushing down hordes of enemies too quickly for status to matter. I think its best used on Fighter and Warriors and really you can just give them Levin and Solemnity books and call it a day.

DD2 Warrior is definitely better than 1's but I like 1's design and overall skill design more. 2's Warrior goes more into the Barbarian theme and pretty much all of your attacks have to be charged while you tank hits. 1's Warrior is more of a skilled swordsman that uses a big sword, you don't really tank hits and your charged attacks are exclusively for your biggest attacks while the rest of your skills are just sword techniques.

They are silver, or very shiny steel plate, paired with a large overcoat which clips a shit load with any cloaks and even if it didn't it makes it look stupid wearing a cloak over your coat. Did anyone actually play Spearhand for the DLC? This vocation is so fucking weird. It's the clunkiest agile playstyle I've ever seen. You're just holding down a button for most of your playtime, running out of stamina because holding down that button stops your stammy regen, and half your skills feel like they don't mesh well at all.

>>585444828It's good, expansion added a lots of dungeons an exploration, new area and abilities are fun, hard mode will make you eat you. It's not at the level of the original but it's pretty good nonetheless, definitely better than the base game at launch.

It was a moronic decision to hand it out for free immediately after the tutorial whilst also refusing to remove other ferrystones from loot tables. This is to say nothing of Norgan having permanent PCs outside of random fucking caves and all over the map effectively negating the placeable ones entirely.It's been done to death though, everyone who cares knows it was a bandaid fix to a non-existent problem and judging by the above mentioned design decisions in DA2 I don't think it's likely they'll go back.
