You're supposed to bop the eye of the statue on the right in order to progress downwards - which is fine when playing as Sonic, but when playing as Knuckles you're unable to jump that high, and you're unable to climb the wall on the left either. So, there's a rare - probably unique? - moment where you need to *backtrack* in order to progress, by following the 'up arrow' that signposts where you can climb a wall to bypass the statue.It's bullshit because people up to this point will have played through Sonic's route, and will expect the same from Knuckles as well.
