And they really shoved the crown's effects into this since while we knew it was special I don't believe there were ever any implications of it's gluttonous and low intelligence ways after seeing Tig wear it (more-so on the gluttonous part there) and how we know ufu booboo was already slow to begin with. The emotional part of this also felt forced to me, they literally forced kyoushu away with Shoupan to not be able to fix the problem immediately and while that was amusing since Shoupan is great it was obviously done just to be able to make this story work at all.
