Forever just isn't hitting, there's not enough new to actually make the experience enjoyable and the phasing has completely broken the immersion entirely. Looking at a shoreline with 30 players farming the same 8 murlocs on a 15s respawn timer just looks silly as fuck. Waiting for a boat only to have it phase right in front of you is stupid as fuck. More than ever I feel like most of my time is spent doing nothing, just running around like an asshole delivering notes for 200xp a pop, having to sweat pull mobs just for 10 minute quests to take 45 minutes. Still feels dead with the layering, at least on RP-PVP. At this point I'm convinced the number of layers across all rulesets is the same and RP-PVP/RP is getting fucked because PVP/PVE have 10x the players according to that one population chart some anon posted. Best explanation I can come up for why my experience is so dead while other are saying they have to fight tooth and nail for tags amongst a swarm of others players.

I think the best way to enjoy the game right now is either be a dwarf or undead. The new lighting makes Dun Morogh and Tirisfal genuinely feel like new zones, i spent an hour just huddled up at the inn in Kharanos earlier RPing with some dwarves. If you treat your character like an actual living being that can’t just hang around a blizzard for 3 hours it gets pretty peak. I’m definitely rolling a dwarf when hardcore comes around
