4chan passes are up for renewal soon, for the first time since you-know-what happened. Think that's going to affect how many people renew?

They couldn't even give us a 2 week extension on our passes after being unable to use them for 2 weeks, it's so insulting, I'm not renewing.I'm glad I got to 3-year renew shortly before the price hike, I'm not paying $30 annually.You used to be able to pay with coinbase crypto from any wallet, it would give a QR code and you could send payments to it, I'm sure as fuck not making a coinbase account to dox myself again.
Using a card is newfag territory.But they did make it harder to pay with crypto. Had to send funds from my main wallet to my browser wallet to renew.

This year was the worst renewal ever. First, 4chan didn't notify me that my pass was about to expire like they always had in past years so I found out when I tried to post last week. My Coinbase wallet was just slightly less than $30 so I had to buy more Bitcoin. Coinbase lets you buy instantly with a debit card but I found out that my debit card had expired last year and I never activated the new card that my bank had sent me so the bank had cancelled it in 2024. Last week I ordered a new card which is still not here yet. I had to use a bank transfer to buy which has a 5 business day hold which meant a full week of waiting because it cut across the weekend. They finally released the hold yesterday but I still couldn't renew my pass because there's now some insanely long confirmation period for payments to 4chan. So, I had to set up my own custodial wallet and send my Bitcoin there, but I still couldn't renew because apparently you need to use ETH to pay for transactions out of the custodial wallet and I only had Bitcoin. I converted the last remaining Bitcoin in my Coinbase wallet to ETH and transferred it over but then I was literally 0.60 USD short for the transaction fee so I was gonna have to buy more ETH. I found an unused gift card that I had received for my birthday and tried buying ETH with that but they don't accept prepaid cards. At that point I felt like jumping out the window because I had already been passless an entire week and then I was going to need to wait an additional week for either my new debit card to arrive or for a new bank transfer to clear hold. But thankfully they allowed me to buy ETH without starting a new hold period.
