1) why are we grouped with /r9k/ and /s4s/ on the navbar?
2) what's the reasoning behind separating a, b, etc and 3, aco, etc?

I think the first list are the "original" boards, then the next list are just... idk, general boards? and the last one are "new" boards.

I am not sure why /r9k/, /s4s/, and /vip/ are separete. it's kind of silly

you are right, also /jp/ is in the third list and would be considered an original board by any standard

it seems totally meaningless to me
