I've noticed more and more anons complaining about "temporally rangeban" message, including one instance of a greentext writer being barred from posting from his PC, thus making it difficult for him to continue his story. This makes E-mail verification for poorfags practically mandatory.Back when E-mail verification was tested on /biz/ it was quickly realized that pretty much no one wants to sign up for 4chan. The system was later updated to make posting with no E-mail possible through waiting the 15 minute timer. FAQ still states so:https://www.4chan.org/faq#howpostThe "selling point" of 4chan is the fact that anyone can open the site, make a comment and get it posted without being forced to register & login into their account. Forced E-mail verification pretty much violates the spirit of 4chan. It's already known that the message is tied to user's fingerprint rather than their IP address, so I'd like to know if there's anything planned to fix the damn fingerprinting to make normal usage of 4chan possible. I know that residential proxies are a problem, but current situation makes the boards practically impossible to use without a pass.
>>139352I'm having temporary rangeban issues too. Also the E-mail verification doesn't work, when I verify my email, I get a "invalid/expired" token. Tried it with a few personal emails and I get the same result, excluding my official work and irl email that will link to me irl.
>>139365Meant to say I didn't try with my work and irl email because it will be extremely stupid to do so.
>>139365>invalid/expiredit's iirc fake and is used on emails deemed "throwaways"for some reason it doesn't detect my throwaway protons
