I propose making another /v/ spin-off, specifically for vidya mods and content related to them>modpacks>console hacking/homebrew>source ports>reverse engineering >etc...When Minecraft Console Edition source code leaked on /g/ a few months ago most of the discussion about forks of that codebase happened on /g/: /v/ had a couple of slow (even for /v/) threads while Minecraft generals on /vg/ laughed at anons being interested in something that wasn't Java. Housing video game discussion on /g/ just feels wrong.Having a dedicated board for strategy games (a niche genre these days) while providing quite literally nothing for modding just makes no sense IMO
>/v/>modsounds like an alternative spelling for "obesity"
There's already too many videogame boards. There's like 8
>>140441So? Vidya website
>>140115Based idea. Better than the other shit /v/ boards.I think /mod/ in general has legs - just hacking shit. /g/ is more consumer grade shit.
>>140470>/g/ is more consumer grade shit./g/ COULD be better if they make /gg/
>>140472What's gg?
