There was a zzzchan clan going on two years ago to some degree of success. They even managed to get a clanhall in Gludio. But the clan leader was Russian and he was sent to the war, plus they didn't like 4channers.

I'm going to get 1st class change, hopefully soon, and debate whether I want to keep going from there. Some of the rebalance stuff on this server is interesting or a bit questionable. Still, I've had >fun, I think.
Stopping by to say, that I loved playing this back then, but the game aged horribly. Grind is 90% of the gameplay really.

Tried that C1 server and, maaan, this game has aged as milk. C1 was rough...Not that I can bring myself to play for much longer without a clan of English-capable people.
how could they fuck up so bad the changes related to boss drops from c4 to c5? Not only they made harder to kill them but they also cutted they item drop by 50% and the scroll drop 1 to 10.

My friend is really into the server Scryde which is the most well put together one i've seen and also never does wipes which is nice. However, its still rather grindy even by Gracia private server standarts and while it does have a low rate variant i havent focused on that either. Every so often im tempted to join him for realsies but eventually it turns into a 2nd job and thats when it stops being fun for me, i just wanna play when i feel like it and not be forced to do stuff because if i dont i get left behind/kicked out of clans. Also sucks how low rate servers are nigh possible for solo players.

Like i mentioned above the moment it turns into a 2nd job is just not worth it. I know Raids are spawning at specific times and all that but i dont want to be in constant worry that i will be removed from the clan if i miss a single raid. In short, while L2 is really fun, its not as easy-going for the solo player and everything goes better once you got people backing you up.

>>1697470Leveling is the relatively easiest thing, the grind comes from gearing, the good thing with L2 is that you dont even have to go through the regular process of gearing, you can just buy the stuff from someone selling it, so long as you got the Adena for it so its a matter of which type of grinding you prefer, simply farming money or materials to craft the things yourself. As for the specific server, it has a healthy playerbase with no signs of stopping so give it a go.

Elmorelab launched their x2 c1 server about two weeks ago. It will go through all the chronicles up to c5, possibly also interlude, and then merge with their x1 server Teon sometime at the end of 2025 or early 2026. If you're looking for the classic lineage 2 experience, this is the only viable option. The downside is that it's mostly russians and south american players there. I suppose you could check their english discord channel to look for non-spic players.

The rates are x1 but it will forever remain a C1 server, so there's no rush whatsoever. This is a decent option for people who want to experience the original game and its quirks but don't want to invest too much of their precious time on the mmo rat race. However, I should note that Harbor is customized to make it more enjoyable to play in the long-term, and is not actually equivalent to the original official server experience of 2004, although I doubt anyone here could tell the difference. For the old-school, hardcore, unbalanced, masochistic c1 to c5 experience the newly opened Airin x2 is a better option.

I loved the game when I was a child, I will never forget the big 200 v 200 fights for Baium or Antharas. But I couldn't play this today in any way, the nostalgia would hit me too hard.
