>>1853155i started playing like 2-3 days ago, my first or second team had 2 heavy hitters that basically carried my ass to the peak on the easiest mountain and we were also achievement hunting so i got some neat gear pretty early onreally fun game, only downside is that you have to match make in the thread or in the official discords channel and they have some anti troll thing where you have to be a active member in discord for a while to be able to post games in their LFG channelyou can still join games just fine and invite your friends to games, you could also just post the games steam link here and play with anons or somethingnot playing it today myself since i have other stuff planned but it's been pretty fun so far, the most important things imo in the game are: stamina management (stamina bar is your health bar and a slowly rising hunger chips into it forcing you to eat or go faster to find food)flora knowledge: some stuff is poisonous, some stuff is edible and some stuff has special effects like healing everyone in a cloud, making a mushroom ledge and so forthitem knowledge: knowing what each item does, you'll learn this stuff really fast so it's not hard but it's still important for prioritization (limited inventory space with backbags adding more)mechanics: you can take your time to scale the mountain but you will become and absolute unit of a wall climbing rocket that can scale near impossible spots if your mechanics are on point (checkout speedruns)and last but the most importantly: teamwork, the game is 100x easier and fun if you work together with your team and they're cooperative, you can revive unconscious players with items (depending on what caused their stamina bar to be filled with maluses), you can stand near a ledge and pull them up if their stamina is barely making it there and brainstorming on what routes are best / safest / fastest is pretty good too, also it's fun to chat with the team just to pass time and for fun
