Also there's a way to mitigate the pattern by aiming and strafing (look up a vid on aim smoothing). Hold your friends to warming up with the shooty game modes. I was introduced to the game by guys who would pick up the longbow and would try to snipe. Only one of them was decent in CQC and when I surpassed the sniping friend, he lost interest in the game. lol. If you're competitive minded, it might scratch the itch during the learning phase, but be forewarned, the kiddie pool is shallow and short lived, then they throw you with the sharks. Again, just be outcome independent and learn to shoot your gun. Pick a few to learn and you'll be good.
