The /vg/ era generations view and play the game fundamentally differently from the /vm/ era generations. It's not necessarily a good or bad thing in either direction, but something to keep in mind. Most more recent players never experienced 3-week rebirths, the old much lower on average power levels, much fewer freebies, slower progression, or even their top tiers of gear that they worked hard on becoming common and eventually gacha-spew tier with time.My only personal complaint about the state of current Mabi is that endgame content requires a much higher time and team quality dedication to succeed. Some people have active irl social lives and jobs, as well as other hobbies and games to play. As a result they don't have the time or energy to keep up with dedicated content groups that don't really mesh well with drop-in drop-out playstyles. And once they get good enough to carry your ass in content, they almost always end up in better groups that will refuse to accept getting others up to speed or people who can't always be around for stringent times. It's a personal complaint because it's 100% a me-problem and a natural part of adulthood. Not a problem with those who can play more or the design of the game itself.

The problem with twin swords is that they lack piercing and piercing enchants so you need the irusan bells and drobe and other sources of pierce to be competitive. You also only get the pierce from the highest one of your dual wielded weapons so there's no point in using two piercing swords over swords with 2 different bonuses if you can activate the bonuses on each.
