I was thinking what if you only had Kupipi and a basic DD trust. Would that be pointless in practice if you can't have a full party? The idea being that you can do a very basic EXP grind with higher chance of wiping but proper content still requires humans. It always being more advantageous to have a full human party.

At this point, I think we can confidently say that horizon showed everybody that doing custom is cool in theory, but ultimately a mistake. Server will be out for three years without an expansion update because of all of their custom work. Eden and eventually Phoenix make the most sense in light of that.

It will absolutely have that at launch. Tons of people waiting for a new server, and there's a good chunk of people that didn't like the "era+" changes and have been waiting for a new classic server that isn't Eden.

i don't think that's true. just look at all the WoW private servers. tons of custom shit. and as far as I know, people love that shit. it just needs to be done right in a classic setting. Changing Utsusemi timers just cause isn't doing that.
It also doesn't help that 80% of content still isn't working on private servers.

Zenith has cleaner idea of era+ but unfortunately, you'll never convince the boomers stuck in their ways that trusts actually aren't that bad and change almost nothing for how the core game is played if you're only allowed 1-2 of them.

Every job on Zenith will have almost every ability and trait in the game "scaled back" for 75. There is very, very little being pruned. The end result is jobs will be fucking insane with every possible passive trait, and job ability, including all the damage boosts and defensive boosts, and they're just throwing it on top of 75 cap content.

This is basically the equivalent to multiple additional pieces of absolute top end gear, for free, which is saying nothing of the buff availability for everything up to 99 cap. Just about every single powerful ability will be on nearly every job. Very few things are locked behind 75, most of it is scaled down into the 40s.

Here's an example, pic related. RNG gets Double Shot and Triple Shot, scaled back from 40% chance to 10% chance each. Loxley gave away that this is his server since he's shilled this idea on several private servers.
