I find it interesting, and starting the story with some clear tension between the main character and toons is a good way to get character dynamics going and developing as time goes on. I'm not super keen on the super Twisteds though unless they are like a rarity in the story because it does kinda clash with the idea that the Dandy's World is a 'mascot horror' kind of vibe, and eldrich horrors definitely feel out of place in that regard, even if you use it to explore the concept and utility of ichor. And, as he expands further and further into the new Twisteds, it seems to be less Dandy's World and more 'Your World's if you get my drift. It's a delicate balance in fan works: you want to work on things based on an existing franchise, but you also want to make something original and interesting. In this case, I think the concepts the guy wants to explore are so original that maybe he should just cut the fandom entirely and make it all original content.I just never had the chance to comment on it because work tried to wring me dry last week. He may not have the Dandy's World fandom to go off of for views, but he'd no longer be restricted to using them as a crutch.

I tend to put their works above my own is all, especially if I like the art.
