My Hero Ultra Rumble is a F2P battle royale game based off the My Hero Academia anime. It features various characters from the series (with more to be added), each with a unique playstyle and different costumes. Team up with other players or go in solo and try to become the champion!
The game is available on Steam, Playstation, XBOX, and Switch, with crossplay between all platforms.

Maybe it's latency-dependent, but in my experience you just have to roll directly toward him as he approaches.

Garbage ass takes. There is a reason they gave back Rapid Ochako's 300 HP because it was fucking atrocious. Also Rapid Ochako and Ass Ochako to a certain degree, are fine where they are at. Just because you get your ass raped by certain characters, that doesn't mean they need to be nerfed constantly.

I think we got lucky it only happened once and that it's sorta semi-playable if you're constantly looking around to check for incoming danger. There's an even nastier bug related to names where rendering arabic completely disables the UI and doesn't allow you to use the inventory, use ability/rainbow cards nor drink potions. If a player with that in his name joins your team, enjoy not being able to play the game the moment you spawn in the waiting room. He's not even on your screen but close enough to render his name? UI disabled. He's dead? UI is permanently disabled until you pick up his token. Revive him and it's back to square one.

Remember to conserve all the roll tickets you get for being a new player (100 to start, 100 upon reaching each rank tier, 350 from the Research Notebook, etc)
The gacha rates are shit, but you can guarantee whatever character you want if you roll enough times. But rolls don't carry over between banners, so the optimal tech is to save up 2000 tickets and then blow through them (hopefully not all of them if luck favors you, but potentially all of them) on a single banner.
If you save from the start, you can reach 2000 tickets within a single season.

Older characters can be acquired using character tickets, without touching the gacha at all. Two character tickets can be acquired for free from grinding the Research Notebook missions, and you can get a third for free if you grind out the limited-time Area Control Battle Event over the next few days. See >>1959741 for which characters are free, character ticket, or gacha characters.

The 5k hero crystals from the Battle Event vol. 7 that's running until the end of the season would allow you to get next season's Pro License Lite (battle pass) right from the start, and getting as many tickets from this season's free license as you can before it rolls over next season would just give you that much more of a head start on reaching 2k for pity.
The free license gives 900 tickets per season or something like that.

I tried one of the newer ones (Next Order, I think?) and I remember not liking it.
For one thing, rather than starting with a small camp/village and growing it into a city naturally as your recruit allies, you start in a city to begin with and 90% of the buildings are simply abandoned until you recruit the appropriate digimon. That felt really soulless to me.
I remember having other issues with it as well, but I can't remember what they were.

If you can average 2000 points per game, you could hit that mark if you were to play for about 12 hours per day, every day from now until the end of the season.
So, it's theoretically possible. The big questions are can you maintain that average, and do you have the time to devote to the quest?
Achieving Top 100 is much easier by just getting a commanding lead early on in the season and then maintaining it through the rest of the season. I stayed up for like 30 straight hours at the end of Season 7 in a final push attempt to barely make it into the Top 100, failed, and finished the next season at like #50.

It's obvious that the devs are getting better at mechanical complexity (or they hired new devs who just are better at it) but with every new character that comes out, the older characters show more and more age.
Barely any of the older characters have dual-function moves, while it seems like newer characters have more and more. YfO and FW Deku have SEVEN different abilities (SA 1, SA 2, alpha, beta 1, beta 2, gamma 1, gamma 2.) It's not necessarily just "main character" syndrome either, even Tamaki got a projectile alpha, a grab alpha, cloaking on his beta, and the charge gimmick of his gamma.
They sorely need to update the kits of older characters if they want them to keep up in terms of gameplay depth.

Plus when they're separate characters they get entirely newly recorded voice lines. So that and what you said is necessary for Final Deku, Young AFO, Armored All Might, Final Shoto etc because they really shouldn't be using their base version assets. Final Deku reusing his old base voice lines wouldn't make sense either since he's more serious and has a deeper and more serious tone in his voice in the final war and needs new dialogue to go with that.

While it's cool these two skipped ahead of the queue and are coming this early especially since I expected them to be playable in All's Justice and that game to be out first before they get added to this game, I have mixed feelings because I was waiting for them to finally add a new girl like Mina or Jiro and Jiro looked to be coming this season until now. So I'm disappointed about that. At the same time I was hyped for Final Deku because of his speed and Gearshift so I will be rolling for him and will play him here and there. I think he might be a rapid.

Double ping is meant to be a "enemies here" as in you literally just SAW and enemy, comfirmed 100%.
The other one means "there is danger around this area" which could be a bunch of things: you heard footsteps, you see a teamfight from afar, you see people looting in the distance, ect.
Neither of them means "let's fight", but usually people use "!!" way more for that since if you can see the enemy chances are they can see you too, which usually leads to a fight.

Double-press is the enemy ping, single-press is the danger ping.
Personally, I use the enemy ping to simply point out enemies so my teammates are aware of them. If I want to fight them, I'll start making my way over to them and my teammates will see that.
I use the danger ping exclusively for "we should leave/stay away from the area." Like if an area looks really busy and I think it'd be a bad idea to get caught up in it, or if I get downed and it would be extremely dangerous to try and save me, so I'd rather my teammates stay away and just collect my token later.

How much more XP do you need? You can see the exact number if you go to the pass and click on a slot you haven't unlocked yet.
That will bring up the screen where you can exchange hero crystals for XP, which has an awful exchange rate, but the screen WILL show you how much XP you need in total to reach a given level.
That can let you work out how far you'll be able to get just by grinding the seasonal missions.

He has noticeable startup on his basic beta, activating gamma, and his overdrive gamma, so those moves might end up being punish-bait. The startup doesn't look armored, either.
Also, he might be required to execute a melee combo in order to go from 2nd gear to overdrive, so more mobile characters might be able to zone him out and aerial characters could prevent him from activating it entirely.

His overdrive beta and his alpha look really good, though.

The appeal of a TDM mode is that it would be constant fighting with some risk, but relatively little risk.
You want to win and get kills, of course, but people would fight harder if there was no risk of a team wipe/having to go back to the lobby and start all over.

Area Control's focus on capture points makes it too congested. When I said constant fighting, I mean in mostly 1v1/2v2 contexts, like in a custom game.
Area Control is just a giant AoE fest. There's hardly even any chasing/repositioning/hiding to heal for a second/etc. It's just attack spamming.

I think he can get a full melee regardless of terrain or a speed card. Both his air melee and ground melee have that busted red kendo tracking paired with the lunge, only that his air melee lunge goes much farther. With a speed card, this allows you to combo beta after his charged gamma. Charged beta or double tap beta is identical, but you can probably get away from him if he wants to do a charged beta so I'm guessing we're just spamming double tap unless we really want to use it to catch a wake up. Spiraling Leap coupled with Fa Jin for general mobility seems pretty good on him, and air melee already does a good job killing your momentum so you can get back to the ground faster.

I also wonder if it will make Special Attack Reload Boost viable for him. His jump recharges in midair as long as you're not hovering, so with 5x charge speed, he might be able to just airjump until the tuning runs out.

I feel like the SA nerf, while decent, was the wrong approach. It's a band-aid. He can still cooldown reset, just not as much.
6 betas and 2 sets of ammo for his copied abilities is better than 10 betas and 4 sets of ammo for his copied abilities, but what the devs SHOULD have done is just made his attacks remember their ammo when he switches off of them, instead of making his SA refill everything to full every time he used it.
Regardless, this change will still probably be enough to knock him off his "king of the meta" throne.

I see what you mean, and yes, it affects Nejire as well.
It seems like if you tap too quickly, then each time you toggle the hover, it kills all your momentum and you end up moving at a speed comparable to if you were just hovering normally, which is awful for evasion.
You can avoid this by tapping more slowly (wait until you kind of transition into the falling animation each time before you start hovering again) which lets you maintain decent horizontal speed, but you lose altitude much more quickly.

It's a massive buff for Assault Deku, both Bakugos, Rapid Ochaco, Iida, Froppy, Strike Kiri, Rapid Mirio, Shinso, Cementoss, Twice, and Compress.
It's a noticeable buff for Strike Deku, Strike Shoto, Assault Kendo, both All Mights, Aizawa, both Endeavors, Hawks, Mt. Lady, Strike Dabi, and Kurogiri.

Basically, if a character has any move that gives them some speed and conserves its momentum (rather than enforcing endlag, like Assault Shiggy's gamma or now Monoma's beta) the character has suddenly become much more maneuverable, and that maneuverability scales with how frequently the character can use that move. Froppy, for example, can full-on zigzag through the air now. Deku can U-turn after using Blackwhip, Bakugo can cover 1.5x-2x the distance with his SA now, Strike Kiri can shield jump in any direction including strafing sideways with it, Iida can get a lot of aerial distance out of his turbo betas now, and so on.

No, you just make your own gacha banner and you must select 8 characters, QSS or styles as Byking calls it now and then roll for them. They have a higher rate divided among them just like a regular banner. Same gacha rules apply, it lasts for the entirety of the season, so you can get to 200 pity if you spend crystals to get there. You get 8 free tickets in total, 1 ticket = 10 rolls for a total of 80 free rolls. It's probably optimal to leave your hot pick selection for last and use the anniversary and beginner rolls to weed out your gacha pool selection. If you want Hawks and he's in both pools, roll for him there first, then (if you aren't spending 70 dollars to get the second anniversary ticket) if you still didn't get him, you can safely lock him down on the hot picks banner.

You literally can't escape being combo'd by him unless you're playing a character with absurd speed like Iida. In a 1v1 he could probably enter overdrive and just beat his opponent to death with melee without even needing to use his overdrive beta or gamma.

Newku's alpha seems to be just okay. The aerial version does fairly standard beamer damage (same as Assault Deku's alpha, in fact, 80 at level 9). It has a slightly shorter range than Strike Bakugo's alpha, about comparable to Assault Might's alpha. The grounded version deals 100 damage at level 9 and goes a little farther, but has a wind-up period that means you're either going to get punished or dodged if the enemy is looking at you.
Although the damage of the aerial version is comparable to Assault Deku, the fact that it can ONLY be done while jumping limits its DPS, since you can only fit in one shot per jump unless you're doing vertical jumps with Space Hop or Fa Jin. Additionally, if you mistime your inputs and alpha when you're not in the air, you stop dead in your tracks to do the grounded alpha animation. You can roll-cancel it, but it still kills your momentum and opens you up to being shot.
The grounded version is a hard knockdown, so it can counter armored moves, but the wind-up means you'd have to predict the move pretty well in advance or else you'd just be hit by it before you get the shot off.

Newku's beta is similar to Assault Deku's beta, but with even more startup. If you just tap it, it's fairly short-range (a little longer than the range of Assault Deku's beta) but if you hold it down, it can go farther and becomes more of a mid-range attack. Even tapping it has a brief startup period, and holding it down seems to double that. If the enemy is close enough to you, it will track them, but the tracking doesn't extend even to the full uncharged range. If the enemy is very close to you, they can take up to 46 extra damage from the charge AoE. The attack itself deals 140 damage at level 9.
The fact that a charge-up is mandatory makes me think that this one probably won't be too hard to dodge if your focus is on Newku.

Newku's SA can be tapped to consume 30% ammo and instantly create a smokescreen (about the size of Compress's gamma smoke cloud) or held to activate Fa Jin, which basically gives you a combination of Space Hop and Spiraling Leap. Fa Jin lasts 35 seconds with 100% ammo. His SA functions like Nejire's where it doesn't recharge while in use, but it retains any partial recharge it might already have unless you drain it completely, and when the recharge completes it returns to 100% instantly. A partial recharge takes 9 seconds, while recharging from empty takes 10 seconds.

Newku's gamma, initially, just activates 2nd gear. All this status effect does is make you like 6% faster, and make it so that when you press gamma again, you can airdash up to 2 times before you have to touch the ground again. These airdashes consume 5% of the meter each. At level 9, it lasts 2 minutes and 20 seconds, not including airdash consumption. When it wears off, it goes on cooldown for 9 seconds. If, at ANY point during those 2 minutes, you manage to land a melee combo on someone, you enter overdrive (technically you can also be in 3rd or 4th gear depending on how many uppercuts you hit, but unless the enemy is already near knockdown, you're going to be able to pull off the full combo.) This instantly refreshes the duration on your gamma, increases the speed boost to around 20%, and gives you access to alt-fires for your beta and gamma. Additionally, if you land another full melee combo on an enemy, the duration refreshes AGAIN. There is no apparent limit on how long you can keep overdrive going.

Newku's overdrive beta is an enormous ground pound that deals 200 damage at level 9. Because the damage is delivered in 5 hits of 40 damage, it is probably not possible to roll the whole thing. It's basically Assault Kiri's gamma except he jumps into orbit before doing it. It does have a wind-up period like his normal beta (although if you do a normal beta first, you can press it again to transition immediately into the jump+slam for free) and it's not armored, but if you don't interrupt the wind-up and you see him to into the air, you're probably not escaping this move unless your character has a lot of mobility or a shield.

Newku's overdrive gamma is a wind-up similar to his beta, during which he locks on to whichever enemy is closed to his reticle and in range, and then does a homing melee attack for 155 damage. The lock-on range isn't very far, about as far as the max range of his normal charged beta, I think. If you reach the end of the charge-up period with no valid lock-on, you just do an airdash. This move isn't armored, so characters with lingering staggering moves (Ibara's beta, AfO's beta) can interrupt the attack. Successfully executing the attack (dealing the 155 damage) consumes 30% of the gamma meter. However, after hitting the enemy, they bounce, and it is possible to chain a full melee combo into them after the hit, which restores your gamma to 100%. In this way, by chaining gammas and melees, you effectively have infinite ammo.

Newku has a similar sort of very fast long-ranged melee as Strike Kendo, except this ALSO extends to his air melee. To make matters worse, he can transition immediately from his 2nd gear airdashes to his air melee and then into his full melee combo. Because of this, there is effectively no way to prevent Newku from activating overdrive unless you are playing a character who can just completely outrun him like Iida or Kurogiri.

To summarize:
Newku's alpha is decent. His beta is decent. His Special Action is decent. His gamma is not that great.
His melee is absolutely stupidly busted strong, and gets even stronger when combined with his gamma. This then lets him activate overdrive, which in addition to make him 20% faster overall, gives him a stupidly strong overdrive beta and a stupidly strong overdrive gamma that can then be combo'd into melee for infinite uptime, besides the fact that he can easily maintain infinite uptime on it anyway by just doing gamma airdash into melee combo.
Because of his airdashes and the speed and tracking of his aerial melee, you can't reliably prevent him from activating overdrive either, nor can you prevent him from maintaining 100% charge on his overdrive, which means he will have the stupidly strong beta and gamma basically all of the time.

Newku's only real counters are characters who have armored moves or moves with large hitboxes that can stagger him out of his own moves before they make contact. But even against these characters, he could probably simply beat them to death with his busted melee.
Newku will probably be king of the meta until they eventually, hopefully, nerf him.

Monoma can use Newku's gamma, but it's... not very good on him.
You increase gears by landing a full melee combo (which in Monoma's case, is two hits) but because Monoma only has one "final hit" in his combo while Deku has three, Monoma can only go up one gear at a time. Deku can hit overdrive with a single combo, while Monoma has to land three separate melee combos in order to reach overdrive.
Additionally, Monoma's melee is short-range and has no tracking, so landing the melee combo is much tougher for him than it is for Newku. Also, if Monoma's SA runs out or he toggles it for whatever reason, he loses the overdrive status and has to start over from 2nd gear again.
Once he's IN overdrive, of course, it functions like lite Iida gamma that lasts as long as his SA does and grants him access to Newku's overdrive beta (if he copied it) and overdrive gamma, but reaching overdrive with Monoma in a real match just doesn't seem feasible.

I think this was already mentioned in the thead, but to add a bit more info.
According to a (reliable) dataminer plebbitor, Nagant has gotten a solid chunk of data in the files, to quote:
"Nagant had some text placeholders for voicelines added. None of the other leaked characters have this."
She (alongside armoured allmight) has gotten a voice interaction with nu-deku, and also gotten data for her character selection camera. to quote again:
"This implies that both of them are about to release. I wouldn’t be shocked if next season was another dual release! This is mainly due to final season of the anime still running.
I’d like to mention NO OTHER LEAKED CHARACTER HAS THIS. This is much different than a Jiro and Tokoyami situation as neither of them had anything to actually suggest being next."

Just tested it out, it's extremely easy to do and it covers a good distance. I noticed that if you don't press melee after a dash you descend slowly for a few seconds like his beta, so I imagine some cables got crossed there and that's why he can do this.
No need to refresh cooldowns to escape when you have a skill that does it all by itself.

Does the new deku even have cooldowns, I know cooldowns are going out of style in this shitty game but damn I just saw my teammate kill 9 niggas by just spamming his beta and gamma. The fucker didn't touch his alpha once nor the floor once. If this is going to be the state of the game for the next 3-5 months(most likely a year because Byking only give out good balance changes once a year) then I'm fucking done like holy shit this shit isn't right. And to top it off the OP characters from the last season won't be nerfed for awhile as well. Shit been like a full year and they still didn't nerf Present Mic. With Newku, the important thing is to stay on the ground so you can dodge. His beta and overdrive gamma are both dodgeable and have punishable startup, and his overdrive beta has punishable startup as well (though once he actually makes the jump, you're screwed unless you have Space Hop or some other form of extreme mobility, or you can interrupt his descent somehow.)

Based on my experience in Training Mode, the characters that best counter him are AfO, Ibara, Strike Kendo, Assault Kendo, Rapid Mirio, Aizawa, Endeavor, Assault Might, and Cementoss.
Basically any character with a big-hitbox staggering move who can interrupt his beta and overdrive gamma (AfO, Ibara, Cementoss), who can shut down his moves during their charge-up (Aizawa), who can just see the charge-up coming and block with a shield (Strike Kendo, Assault Kendo, Rapid Mirio, Assault Might) or has a ranged move that comes out fast and can interrupt Newku's moves (Endeavor, Cementoss).

Of course this all goes out the window if the Newku player realizes he can just ignore all of his predictable charge-up attacks and just rely on his heat-seeking melee combo that does like 120 damage.

Turns out I was wrong about the number of cards. I assumed that all revenge tunings except Revenge Support were equivalent to their respective cards, and since Revenge Rapid is 20%, I assumed Rapid cards were 20%.
It turns out that all ability cards (except Support cards) give their numbers in a tooltip when you're near them or mouse over them in your inventory. Revenge Technical, Revenge Strike, and Revenge Assault all match their respective cards, but Revenge Support AND Revenge Rapid are different.

A single Rapid card is only a 10% speed increase, which means Newku's new Acceleration tuning is equivalent to TWO Rapid cards.

I just discovered an evil build...
You know that Strike Shoto TOD where you can melee a couple times, then your beta will freeze the enemy, allowing for a second beta?
It was never a true TOD because the enemy could potentially roll out of the melees. Since I discovered that, the devs buffed the speed of Strike Shoto's beta to the point that you can hit a beta->beta by itself even without the freeze, but only on HP. On GP, the enemy gets iframes too early, and although with tuning an air melee + beta will break the enemy's shield, the air melee places you too close for the beta->beta to hit reliably. The enemy ends up landing on top of the beta and getting iframes most of the time.

However, with the 20% speed boost from Acceleration, the second beta now comes out fast enough that it can hit the enemy EVEN at melee range.
This means that with Newku's tuning, Strike Shoto's air melee->beta->beta becomes a true combo that deals over 500 damage with tuning.

Look, old AfO can fly just like young AfO!

This is the same sort of interaction that we've seen with the Gearshift dash and Monoma's air melee, the same applies to AfO.
For both of them, if you airdash+melee while looking straight up, you get a big floaty jump. If they're in overdrive, doing the tech while looking straight up will send them very high and cause them to almost completely HOVER there, with full directional control. They literally just fly.
Thankfully, neither of them can be super demonic with it. Monoma has a hard time activating overdrive and it will only last as long as his SA does before he has to start over from 2nd gear, so although he can pair it with a strong alpha+beta for a time, it's not a super reliable thing. AfO has a better melee and can use his stolen quirk as long as he wants, so once he's in overdrive he can fly forever as long as he descends every couple of minutes to refresh his gamma with another melee combo, but Newku's alpha causes him to lose a significant amount of height, so he can really only use the tech for travel and defense.
You can also fly while just in 2nd gear if you stack two speed cards on top of it, but the flight only lasts as long as those speed cards do. After they run out, you start descending just like if you had done the tech without them.

However, if an AfO were to plunder a Monoma and then copy a Newku's gamma and a Tech Denki's alpha...

That's true. You have a greatly increased alpha fire rate and you can instantly raw double beta and it's sure to hit. But is it worth losing Wall Runner? Thanks to the improved hit detection and the inertia changes, Aizawa's general movement has been greatly increased and remains a menace. However, some of his niche alpha techniques have been completely removed or made harder. Using alpha directly under a ceiling will now always bounce off of it straight down, no matter which key you are holding at the moment of impact, but depending on the angle, Aizawa can sometimes avoid collision with terrain, netting you incredible momentum and air time. Most small objects now force collision so you can no longer use them to catapult yourself out of danger at a very high speed or get yourself into a good position. I'm kinda sad to lose this but overall, it's a good change.

It's a pain but also funny because of how melee obsessed they are. I can have a rapid Deku on my ass for 3 minute straight and he's unable to kill me the whole time (I can't kill him cause his team is on the otherside of the map feeding him 300 team heals). Having a small enclosed space to dance around objects to protect from alphas and critical permeation so you can heal in his face until crit perm comes back up makes you invincible against a lone rapid Deku. Costumes with lower rarities (one and two star) can't level up their special tunings as much, which makes them considerably weaker.

Additionally, the right special slot can be leveled up to level 11, while the left slot can only be leveled up to level 10. You can see what the different levels do for each tuning here: https://ultrarumble.com/tuning

The only PUR costumes that OFA Deku has right now that have both blue and purple slots are his red jacket Expert rank reward costume, and his white gacha costume. The right slot on both of those costumes is a hero slot. This means that if the build you had in mind was purple villain + blue villain, you're unfortunately out of luck.

Ok, this is kind of epic. If you have Critical Permeation on Dabi and you have low hp, but have shields and then get hit with a hard enough blow that breaks your shield and kills you then your permeation triggers which means you can use your special action without any struggle. Now if only you could use it while in the storm.
Also, I'm now Ace and it was done with playing Tech Dabi in 60% of my matches.

Since you guys keep posting about Acceleration, I just realized Aizawa's going to be dealing 500 to 600+ (with tuning) damage combos on a regular basis because of how accessible the acceleration buff is. Luckily, not every good costume has a blue special slot attached to a red or purple, but he does have 3 of them, "gated" behind hero souls.

Melee tunings work amazing with him since it's honestly your main way of getting in and combo damage.
Things like embrit and iron fist are free damage. sisterly is kinda mid now but i imagine it's still pretty good on him for a yellow spot, at least better than revenge assault. perception is also good on him for chasing and meat munching.
You don't really need movement tunings thanks to Fa-jin and his busted ass gamma, but you can never go wrong with wallrunner, and things like critical permeation, willpower and high-speed replenishment work on any character.

This is the (disgusting) build i ended up on after running a budget one for the last few days, It's been working out extremely well.
Perception is so nice to have for chasing or even just running away, and trance blow makes life hell for your opponents, you can change it to iron fist if you want to do the meme melee chain string more than 2-3 times.
The basic tunings give me about a 8-9% melee damage up bonus, which is nothing to scoff at.
If you have his gacha costume, you can also try running the (Combat) varient, red special slot with a yellow villain special slot, put embrit and trance blow/iron fist on that shit and you get about 10% (or 15% if you choose kendo) more damage on your everything for free.

Personally, I'd go for willpower because there are cases where you can get one shot through critical permeation, but trance blow is much better than using iron fist imho. You are crippling 1/3 of a team for 8 seconds, you are still to do most of your major damage combos and your team will have an easier time playing cleanup and wiping him. If that's not convincing enough, you are also leaving him vulnerable to a surprise third party encounter.

Deku has insane survivability due to his mobility and smokescreen, while you can never go wrong with critical, Ofa is one of if not THE best character to make use of the Plethora of melee tunings in the game, since his kit almost revolves around his melee.
Embrit by itself is already pretty good on him, pairing it with iron would give you +15% instead of 10%, but trance blow genuinely fucks with your opponent's mind, and you can immediately re-up it whenever it runs out due to how easily your melee's hit.
Trance also makes his alpha extremely oppressive, there is practically nothing they can do if you just decide to spam it against their sluggish state, really helps in winning against OFA mirror matches too.

The new movement buff to every character didn't really transfer to Nejire and Endeavor's hover jump tech. I don't play Endeavor, so I don't know if it fully affected him as much, but for Nejire, her hover movement is in a bad state right now because when she does her jump hover tech, it actually slows her down to a crawl, and before the new movement tech, it was her fastest way to get around the map without completely deleting her SA gauge.

Lads i got some good news, while the infinite permeation tech mirio bug is still around, he can no longer tap his alpha's to do ranged damage to you without losing invincibility.
Unfortunately he can still melee and do everything else like rezzing teammates or opening chests, but at least he won't be able to beam you while being literally immortal.

Seems to be a model-specific issue. My S9+ was able to run it just fine, but I found a post from someone 2 years ago complaining about getting the same error on their S10.

My Hero Ultra Impact is boring and I don't know how it's remained active for so long.
It's basically a turn-based auto-battler where the only control given to the player is when to use signature moves (of which each character has at most two, and then they go on multi-turn cooldowns).
All the early missions have been boring because I just stomp the enemy in a single turn, but even if I wasn't doing that, it'd just be using my moves and then spamming the "next turn" button until they come off of cooldown.
I have zero desire to play it after I get all the character data from it.

It IS a lot of character data, though. 100 each for like 30 different characters, even Rapid Deku.

The Brainwashed status effect (which Trance Blow applies) triples all incoming down power.
I've HEARD that this doesn't matter for Rapid Deku, as all of his melee attacks have low down power except for the final hit, so it doesn't interrupt his melee combo. However, I don't know the down power values of his melee exactly, so it's possible. Especially if the enemy was hit by anything else before you began your melee combo.

I am a firm believer that trance blow is his best or second best tuning, maybe just slightly behind embrit (Hard to beat a 10% damage buff that you get for basically free).
However, I've noticed 2 situations in which trance blow is detrimental for him.
The first one is using his charged/overdrive beta, it's a quintuple attack that deals 5 hits of 40 damage, 200 damage in total. Amazing attack on its own, the problem is that each pulse of the ground pound deals 100 down power, reaching 500 total in the last pulse, they probably made it this way so that you can't combo it with his air melee since you can immediately act out of beta. With trance blow, each pulse is dealing a whopping 300 down power, meaning you only get 2 hits in before hard knocking your opponent, totaling 80 damage instead of the usual 200.
The second situation happens with his melee, specifically the first hit of his melee, not the rapid jabs, not the uppercuts, the little swing he does when you press melee once. That swing, would normally knock down someone after around 5-6 hits if you decide to chain them, but against a trance blow target, it knocks down in only TWO hits. This is what I assume is causing your melee to drop, maybe you hit your enemy with the swing, realize you caught them, and proceed to try to do a full melee combo, but you end up doing the swing again since your melee chain reset, making them go down.
This can be prevented by simply double tapping melee, his melee is so SO fast that you can literally skip the first move before it hits and go into the rapid jabs, which have way less down power since you can chain them around 5 times even WITH trance blow. This also applies to his uppercut, if you ever wondered why sometimes you only get (or get hit with) 2 uppercuts instead of the usual 3, it's because you were spamming melee and skipped over one of the uppercuts.

Willpower is an "oh shit I'm probably dead, but MAYBE not" for everyone except Mirio and Overhaul. Maybe Rapid Ochaco, too.
Overhaul can obviously full heal, but otherwise you need VERY fast mobility in order to not be immediately double-tapped.
30-second Willpower is great for Mirio because he is basically guaranteed to escape, and that means he can get back into the fight with no strings attached that much sooner. But he also can't even have Critical Permeation, so that solves that.

For Overhaul (due to his SA cooldown) and pretty much everyone else, 30 second vs 60 second Willpower is not going to make much of a difference because they're unlikely to survive after Willpower goes off regardless. Meanwhile, that extra half-second of Critical Permeation goes a long way toward ensuring that you can get a full shield potion in before your invincibility wears off, and that's a benefit you get every time your shield breaks for the entire match.

I'd prioritize level 11 Critical Permeation.
