Is anyone familiar with creating their own server for Pre-Renewal? I want to see if I can make my own and try out some balance changes that I think would improve the gameplay. Just about every server I've tried has kept the original balance of the game and I've found it pretty stale. I've tried looking around but a lot of posts are extremely out of date with dead links and resources.

You'll lose out on Spear Quicken since it's 2hand only, but you'll be able to actually fight. Also as melee, it's better to use Swordfish for these two than Marc. What are some good runes for Armor/Helm/Etc that apply to basically everything? I want to get some upgrades so stuff is easier. The Pitman enemies on the daily map today hit super hard when they enrage for example, and I need a bunch of VIT so their Triple Attack doesn't just oneshot me.
