Not worthwhile vs big packs but is really good if the zone is about focusing fewer big enemies to back attack them.Courage in PVE is only if you need more ap to reach the AP softcap. I started this game this year infact I didnt realize I could even play it because I thought it was another dumb down version of street fighter that only people goon to and obviously its a little better than that because its not like...street fighter. Some might argue street fighter or marvel snk is better.The thing about it was that I was a noob by the usual just starting and realizing the community is nice but also technically prone to periods of rage and just mood. But that's not so much of a problem. I realize they are that way because the game devs basically treat them like an inconvenience. I started seeing this with the constant nerfing and punishing of the player base. It's sort of weird then I saw like they are korean and elitest and also hate racists which is incredibly hypocritical then I notice that some players say they abuse their families when they arent abusing the player base and I just can't really play this game anymore. I like it but I barely have anything to do in it even with Edania being just another rip off of every other patch. There is no real art direction I want to be a part of, if thats how the game always goes. I am a 790gs player and I feel like I am not really missing out because they will just fomo until they can rip off more artists for their content. Ultimately crons weren't that big of a deal. It's weird though how we went from accessories booming on fail and potentially downgrading with crons, and thus people tended to prefer raw tapping accessories, to accessories that you cron almost every step of the way.I don't believe they added the pity system in good faith either, because it was almost too good for the old gear, and the only thing really wrong with the old gear was that you could theoretically get hard stuck tapping something and never succeed if you didn't play long enough to brute force terrible RNG. That's where the pity system was supposed to come in. That's where increasing the price of crons might not have been such a bad idea. The main issue is that instead of doing what they did with blackstar weapons and fallen god, where their release dates were all years apart and gave people time to go for these without getting left behind too much, they dumped all of this insanely cron-heavy gear onto the playerbase all at once and powercrept entire wheels of gear in such a short span of time, then the blacksmith boxes came just in time for the finale whale milking bonanza.

You either have to deal with a shitty tug of war with raw taps in a time where players are getting less acclimated to risking downgrades, or pay out the nose if you want to do so safely and lack hammers if not just outright buying the item. It at least would've been nice if the devs did a cron substitute for them or the becoming-defunct Godr-Ayed, not unlike with Slumbering Origin of recency.Curious if the devs will do something about Kharazad if it's just cheaper to sideline it for PEN Debos, but given this year I suppose we might have to see if the devs finally settle down a bit with the gear climb for a while yet.

But PvE death may result in your expensive passive-boosting crystals being destroyed with few opportunities to recover them, this is generally only really a more likely issue in 300+ AP spots onward or by some freak accident than a regular occurrence. EXP loss isn't as big of a deal when leveling to Lv62 isn't hard and unlocks most things, and there's a fair few items that will restore it anyway.Overall, there are also a good many quality of changes made in the past couple of a years but I wouldn't say that it's casual, since it still requires a lot of commitment and also luck to progress faster.

So each of the steps above are basically a month's worth of casually grinding 1 hour per day, considering also whatever freebies we get from events and the Black Shrine chores that take 5-10 minutes per day. Aiming for DEC sovereign weapon, let alone 2 DEC sovereigns, is a whale's goal. We know BDO is a timesink, but hardcap gear is not just a matter of time.

You won't see people grinding Jade forest since they can get a TRI helmet without the flame of frost, you won't see people grinding Elvia Serendia since they can wait for the cup event and get them from any spot, so the only spots that remain are the ones that pay the most.
