like what in the godforsaken fuck is this. every pso2 episode trailer and visual iterated on itself and showcased a brand new class against a new threat as they travel across the stars against a cosmic threat. you can't build up the starless as a convincing threat if you use simcity as the only front image. pso2 didn't need to show ash constructing shit because social features are normally a given alongside content. this game has no content.

its their master plan. by claiming that the starless ate every planet, and then introducing ruinus, they made a flimsy excuse why theres no point in space travel, despite the story writers and designers talking about the moon being named prison satellite gaera and zephetto mentioning that there are other rogue arks factions.

the starless and ruinus aren't real enemies, they are just a hastily made excuse to shitcan the game after aegis and put the game on perpetual maint mode. thats why they will never be credible enemies, and even the shallowest players can tell that there was never any heart in designing them. this is why ngs has lost 99% of its players.
