Kids that were raised properly with good parents aren't the ones at risk of pedos because their parents would've raised them to not just leave the house and run away to some random place without them. What if I told you, it's neither. This is a self inflicted gunshot from Roblox themselves. Nobody asked them to ban Schlep just because he was a pedophile hunter. If you watched his videos, he never personally lured them off platform which Roblox accused him of doing, but who cares when we don't like him. They killed a guy's livelihood and tarnished their image as a result. Because of this, they caught heat from several governors and are now facing lawsuits. If you read them, they want Roblox to completely limit chatting and that's what's happening right now. They're completely powerless and there's nothing they can really do, but it's their fault. It certainly doesn't help when your CEO is giving interviews where he calls preds an "opportunity". Misinterpretation of words or not, this guy has zero PR sense it really makes you wonder how he even managed to become so successful.This update will also do nothing to stop condos or bad actors whatsoever.
