So after a couple shots, you need to switch to diamond (e)s and reselect the enemy EVERY kill. Even on Vorkath in OSRS, you only used them until about half health. im extremely well versed in runescape ive been playing since 2009 (was born in 2000 but am actually the universe/god experience itself so technically unborn)i played the runescape classic private servers and its just too far back. you have to wait for the individual lines of text to appear above the npcs head...slowly...one by one. would've been comfy back in 2001 tho!i played 2004scape and i appreciate it for what it is - but having to make a discord to even play is fucking retarded. but it does have like 200 players on at any given moment which is pretty impressive. but it's a bit too authentic for my taste. i also do genuinely feel all private servers should have the OPTION of boosted xp. 1x with 2004 rates is just not fun. but it's still comfy to walk around the world but it wears off fast imo.i played 2007scape and it's interesting but the issue with this server is you start asking yourself why you arent just playing actual osrs. the problem with the older versions of the game is there is really no utility for skills at the higher levels. you are just grinding to grind. but i appreciate this existing.2009scape is comfy and the year i started playing. i really love this server and it has boosted xp rates - but sadly there is just too much content missing to truly play this seriously. what could've been.2012scape/darkan is in a similar state. it's 2012 runescape with no eoc or microtransactions, but it's missing so much content it's not really worth playing. it does have worlds with 25x xp and 100x xp multipliers though! which more private servers should have.i highly recommend not playing ANY private server other than the ones i've mentioned. trust me, they are ALL dogshit.

OpenRSC is RuneScape 1 and is the 2001-2003 game. It's kino.2004scape is kino but requires you to make a Discord. Luckily this is the only caveat. Oh, and the dogshit staff. But it's still kino overall because it's literally 2004 RuneScape. It will gradually go to 2005 and 2006 runescape, and remain locked in 2006. It's kino.Vidyascape is 2007 RuneScape and is kino overall. It has "minor" changes such as unlimited run energy and 2.25x xp multiplier. It also has ironman, hc ironman, and ultimate ironman modes. They do not get unlimited run energy or the 2.25x xp. Obviously this makes it not truly 1:1, but it's good enough.2009scape is 2009 RuneScape and quite comfy if I'm being honest. It has ironman and uim, they removed hcim. It also has optional 5x xp multiplier, which I recommend taking. Sadly, they still have a LOT to add but it has roughly 80% of the content that 2009 RS had. Mostly missing quests and quest related content. Like, you can't blackjack for example. You also can't do the Varrock museum for early game hunter and slayer xp. Just a few examples.2011scape is 2011 RuneScape and a fork of 2009scape, but there's basically nothing here at all.2012scape/Darkan is quite kino but sadly very barebones with only around 30-40 quests even working? Most skilling works, but it isn't truly 1:1 This is 2012 RuneScape with NO EOC OR MTX. It does have auras though as they "technically" aren't MTX. Maybe one day this will be worth playing, but it's missing more content than 2009scape.There are other interesting RSPS, but these are the only ones that I personally know of that are truly "worth" it because they are preservation servers.
