I've been playing this game called Plague with ~1k playercount and I'm addicted to it, even though it has so little content and production value.

It's merely a zombie infection game. When a zombie player infects you, you switch to the zombie team with infinite lives trying to overwhelm the remaining survivors. It's not really balanced but it's a lot of fun trying to evade a dozen players as the last survivor.

I was wondering if there were any games that do it better. I prefer the mechanics of this game compared to the typical "asymmetrical multiplayer horror".

Is roblox lagging extremely bad today for anyone else?

I presume in your settings it's all set to automatic which includes FrameRateManager which after checking usually culls some shadows in a attempt to save FPS so disable that and set Shadows to On and that'll most likely fix your shadow sitation.

Aside from ruining the experience for players there's not much you can do. Well, you can still bypass locked upgrade paths on games. Say for Final Stand 2, and make underpowered weapons/items useful for late-game.

I'm just venting about what I liked to do which is changing things to see how they looked, I guess. PVE games where they never really bothered using lighting.

before roblox added rejectcharacterdeletions you could delete the meshes of your hats and then delete the attachment to have blocks that you could move around freely. people did a lot of creative stuff like fully animated breasts or a soccer minigame that you could port into any game
but nowadays the only real vector for exploiting is people who actually make the games not securing them properly. and also network abuse on unanchored parts and the classic fling in games with player collision on

something cool tho that i am working on is a peer to peer chat that uses invisibile animations to allow you to talk to other people using the script independant of the chat. the best part about it is that you dont even need network ownership over your character since animations are replicated independantly of the basepart networking system

Yeah, it introduces a delay that isn't satisfying but it does support it. I'm not interested in the whole client to server to client synchronization, because it'll end up in the same manner SEWH does it, which is physics but not really. Most of the physics they try to embody ends up in objects floating in the air.

If I made all my enemies into client-sided objects to then replicate to the server and back to others, none of their ragdolled or broken pieces would accurately show to others on the server. My game just sucks ass against the exploits I'm trying to fight against. But the compromises are just things that don't feel right for it. There WAS ONE user on the Devforum who managed to replicate free-physics bricks to other clients handled in a great way and I lost that thread.

Or, I opt to use canned death animations like Bloodfest (I enjoyed this game more than Those Who Die or any other zombie games. That or the new mode in Blackout with its random perks).

In my case, imagine zombies dying then falling apart a second later, feels like shit for the player. Do you have a video to showcase the boobs? Maybe also a rudimentary explanation how Valve managed to have enemies replicate to the other three clients, properly.
