So if you already own the game then there's little reason not to see if you like it, but be aware that to play this as a main game it wants at least a fair bit of dedication.

I think the Mirumok Ruins in the Valtarra Mountains and Gyfin Rhasia Temple in the southern Kamasylvia mountains are some of my favourite places in the game. I once had an incredibly vivid dream where I climbed to the top of the Valtarra Mountains and there was a temple similar to Gyfin, but more grand, in better upkeep, and clearly implying there was something significant at the summit, but it was protected by super strong Gyfin-like monsters so I couldn't get there. The design was very reminiscent of the Spear Pillar from Sinnoh for those that have played Pokemon.

New player here. Just reached level 20 and defeated the knight in cron's castle (third boss). Am I missing something or the game just throws loot at you? Already have a T10 horse. Also when does the combat get challenging. I've been pretty much 1 shotting enemies outside of bosses.

Good thing leveling is piss easy (but do stick with the main story up to clearing Mediah at least to expedite future characters). Feasible grinding spots are ultimately dictated by your AP/DP by that point, early endgame more or less starts at 300 AP+ these days and that shit just keeps going with diminishing returns and Zimbabwe money as you acquire damage through better gear and extra sources.The lethality of a given grind spot relative to the recommended stats varies. Hexe Sanctuary has occasional suicide bombers that chunk your HP considerably but nothing that isn't manageable with just having some tact. An infinite HP potion is recommended at this point with a fairy to match, but it isn't exactly a cure-all. For secondary/tertiary things, Dark Rift bosses are piss easy, but the relevance of gear in Black Shrine boss fights isn't as big until later stages, at where they're outright bullshit.It bears to mind that this is a very gear-centric progression game but tagged characters can have copied gear with some upfront cost into that mechanic, if you ever want to swap classes later or try out others.
