I miss minigames servers. What the fuck happened?
Gamers willingly gave up user made content for corporate structured game modes where the singular game mode is the game and there's nothing else outside of it, except maybe some sort of real life money gambling aspect. Gamers voted for this.

CS2 is very clearly made with the intention of being more streamlined and eSports oriented than earlier CS titles that were community driven.The fact there's no usable server browser completely killed any attempt at keeping community servers. The only exception are services like Cyberchoke who mainly allow players to practice for competitive.
