Why is halo MCC still broken despite it being launched on PC in 2019?

>>2278256They don't know what the fuck they're doing. To address the hit reg issues they just increased aim assist. This made the game worse for people who experienced issues and easier for people who did not. If aim assist was handled server side then it would have actually made a positive impact, but it's client side. Client side aim assist means the player cannot even compensate for the desync by leading the shot or aiming center mass. The client side aim assist will always make a bad decision if there's desync. An obvious fix would be to slow the servers down to the refresh rate that they were originally designed for. But then they'd have to implement lots of interpolation which costs time and money.
