Doing the msq on your level 1 alts from ch12>ch15 will put you at lvl248 currently but there's another msq update next month so it'll likely be a few more levels. You can use a diary after that and rewind to ch11 or ch12 which would land you at 285, then use a 2nd diary to 320 OR you can just demand someone level with you at any point. Usually theres 1-3 other people in the 250-320 range who want to level too.

Halberd has horrible accuracy so the crit makes up for that. You probably also need a better halberd, if you're in the guild someone may be able to hook you up with a cheap one.Also generally for your first run through the story you should be playing all of the bosses on easy (with a merc). You can play however you want, but since the bosses were designed with the idea that you'd be doing them with a full party, soloing is going to be harder than you'd expect for an mmo.Don't forget to get the free food buffs from housing either.

If you can afford it then get one with one slot so you can buy and put a +5 crit rate crysta on it.The OP has that Tips & Tricks link that will tell you how to get food buffs. Those are really important and something you should be getting every day. I'd recommend getting the +5k MaxHP, +1k MaxMP and +30 Attack MP Recovery. Physical/Magical Resistance or +30 Crit Rate are also good but you can only have 4 from other players so choose wisely.If you feel sluggish with halberd you should focus on getting and maxing the quick aura skill as soon as possible. Later on you'll get godspeed wield which will solve any slowness problems. If for now you still feel like you attack too slowly then don't be afraid of putting a few more points into agility before strength.
