Jugg wants a pretty even distribution of shield and absorb, while assassin favors a little more absorb because they have a shield related class feature.Damage classes want exactly 110% accuracy, which is about 2700 accuracy stat. This is the most important hard threshold in the game.If you never play operations or flashpoints, and are mostly a story or pvp player, then you can get away with only 105% accuracy, since players have a 5% defense chance base (tanks have more) that you want to overcome, and it's only elite operations and flashpoint bosses that require the 110%.After they achieve that threshold, they then want to achieve a 1.4 second global cooldown, which is acquired through having 7.5% alacrity, which is about 2000 alacrity stat points. This is the second most important threshold after accuracy.Healers can skip accuracy and just focus on the alacrity thresholds.Then third in line is crit. You want to aim for about 5000 crit, but this will absolutely depend on your role. If you need accuracy and alacrity, you won't have enough tertiary stats space for the full 5k crit, so just get what you can after you get the proper amount of accuracy and alacrity.Then last in line is mastery and endurance. These stats don't have hard thresholds like the other three do, and they also don't really have meaningful diminishing returns either, so these are the last in line stats that nobody prioritizes specifically, most of your gear pieces will have some.A few notes:Tanks get free 10% accuracy from a class feature which is why they don't have to build any at all.A legacy unlock for talking to all your companions gives you 1% globally.Healers can take accuracy if they want to off-heal, which is useful in easier content that doesn't require constant vigilance on heals.

You want to at least overcome the baseline dodge chance.Mastery and power are pretty similar in how much each of them directly affects your overall daamge output. The main difference is that mastery beenfits from crit chance, while power is just linear and unaffected by crit. But when swtor was being designed all those years ago, they did some math to make sure mastery and power were similar to each other. So you don't have to prioritize one over the other, many gear pieces have both and lots of augs also will have one or the other, or both.

Flashpoint quests give good xp to overlevel a planet, flashpoints and heroics give good equipment to boost your item rating to above a planet's expected item rating, and gifts boost a companion to be more effective. The three ways to easy leveling and story missions. Other players are usually happy to help with heroics if you lfg in Allies channel or planet general chat, and then flashpoints have a group finder feature.

Then there's Mind Maze, which is a sap effect like the one rogues have in wow.
