All these "events" are exhausting. FOMO, event-driven economy, mandatory login times, incentivizing fishing and afking. Not fun, too many, honestly makes me want to quit especially due to the whole "loyalties" expiring. Like, what's even the point?

The game is great in some ways, but worse in others compared to 2018, but definitely worth playing. If you like the more real or immersive feeling of things from the early days then most of that has been removed in favour of quality of life, and the combat is very different, not meaning it's terrible however. It's the highest apm class in the game for pve, a bit higher than succ ninja grinding. You need to be focused 100% of the time to not drop inputs and such, tons and tons of animation cancelling, very few long animation skills that allow you to breathe for cooldowns, it's very intensive. If you wanna play witch that badly her awk spec is a lot easier and probably just as strong last I checked, haven't grinded on witch in over a year.

It's 3.1b per refresh, assuming you have a big stock of t4 mats. 2 refreshes per day without VP, 3 with it. Each refresh seems to need 2-3 hours with a boat around 185% speed. Advance and Balanced seem to be winning, since you need 20-22k of free weight to do t4->t7 without stops.

It's closer to what bartering used to be some years ago, a semi-afk lifeskill that you can do for 6 hours per day, with recent day's profits. Alright I've done a few rounds of RBF and only reached a max of ~180% BSR, a bit shy of the 200% that I want and even then I'd like to get it in plenty of time before the end of the match. One option is to swap my Target Openings Lightstone set for the Fast & Ragious set to get another 1% regen, but other than that I think it's all down to playing better, of course I have the reforge stones.
As far as I understand, I get 0.1% per attack received from an opponent, with a cooldown per distinct opponent, so I guess if I go up a bit more from 443 DP then I can survive more hits. Do I get rage also from damaging opponents, or is it only kills like in PvE?

Where are you grinding right now that you make 600k silver, you should be grinding at least honglim tier, jade star light is even better imo cause of the big drop there
Join a guild so you get your 4 free bil per week and/or maybe even get carried in black shrines for another few bils

Your priorities for gear simple right now, are getting an alchemy stone, you get one from questing called Ators power stone, then you start swapping out those artifacts with kabuas then you sort out your crystals and actually put in AP crystals cause you're missing a bunch

This should make you be able to grind Hexe Elvia with a harmony draught so you can actually start raking in money

If you do your Black Shrine bosses you don't really need to buy any Essence of Dawn. Also I would recommend trying out lots of different grind spots if you are new, the game might funnel you towards a few most efficient spots, but there are a good amount of other fun ones that are less popular.

Not sure about the DP loss but if you keep an eye on your stats in the top-left you can observe what they normally are and what they are when you have the debuff. Don't forget to account for any DP buffs you may have from your skills and/or addons.
DP is completely separate from resistances, in the bottom right of your character menu (P) it shows how much resistance you have. Ancient Magic Crystal of Nature give 25% resistance of a specific group, of which there are three: Stun and Stiffness, Knockdown and Bound, Knockback and Floating. Most are cheap except the Fighting Spirit ones (Knockback and Floating) but you can also exchange them from Dark Spirit's Greed.
There are a few other resistance crystals you can get as well, but for Jade really what you want is to not use them and instead learn the protections for your class, Super Armour and Forward Guard. Only in later spots does having 100% resist become almost mandatory.

This should be the cost excluding the silver and CC for the stones to enhance green gear to +10, and also missing the coins needed for a caravel's blue gear +10s. Looks very bad if a carrack's blue is 105k.

untaxed carrack profit:
50b / 262.850 = 190.222 silver per CC
for blue carrack gear +10, with 5k CC added for the stones required to enhance it:
35b / 110.000 = 318.181
Realistic with tax and if way more CC are needed to enhance:
(35b * 0.85475) / 150.000 = 199.441 silver per CC

Not sure how many stones on average it is for a blue 0->+10 but they're 10cc each. Blue gear seems to be the better option, and with the average 10k coins i'm making daily that's an extra 2b income.

2140 mastery here, I've been trying O'dyllita for a while. It's okay, the Gars give good silver if you get lucky but sometimes I get very few. The drop rate of yellow fish is low as well, meaning there's very little income other than Gars but I can also fish for many days with only needing to repair.
I was in Valencia for the duration of the free rod, that was good but trying there without the triple-float rod effect was significantly less silver (obviously).
I think the best type of spot is where you get fish in the 25-200 million silver range, any lower and they are too common so you never find good trade rates at 150% distance, and any rarer you can go days without finding one. Duvencrune was a good place when I was there.

I'll have to disagree with >>2379270 on his last point. Jade forest is the spot where you learn about crystals, CC resistances and how to nullify them. Sure, learning your class's protection skills is good, but you will soon learn that the server may disagree with you whether you had Super Armor or not. It's safer to learn early on that when a spot has a specific CC, you sacrifice 3 crystals to achieve true 100% resist to that effect, and play with that ruleset going onward. It will also make you a better grinder overall. When you don't have to think every time whether or not the yeti will knock you down, you can focus your attention to when you see an opening to dash behind them and go ham on their asses for back attacks.

Yes but it's somewhat wrong. You/other guy told me 105k CC for a blue but it's more than that, i looked at the recipe only after, it requires a toro green piece +10 and a 1 bil license to craft, among other blueprints from a node worker. That puts the CC cost at 119k (105k + toro's 10k +4k of stones) with a time gate that relies on worker RNG. Even then it's still probably a little more profit than buying the carrack materials, but not by much.

If you're fine at hexe with that setup then you're good but Kabuas are just gonna make it a little bit more comfy with the damage reduction boost
Most people I heard complain when they go early to Hexe is that they end up dying there
But yeah if you're fine like that you should totally keep on upgrading your AP through various means to get to cap there (one of the ways to get a nice AP boost is using artifact set like All out attack which reduces your DP but increases your AP by alot - something that Kabua's offsets)

Learning about how CC resist crystals work doesn't take any practice in a spot, you look at the type of CC then add up to 100% resist of that CC, that's all. Yes, later in PvE you will always want 100% resist, but it's not like that's hard to achieve. It's part of why CCs have been made almost completely pointless in PvE now, and not much better in PvP.
If anon were to ever try PvP without being at least a bit familiar with protections and CCs he's gonna have a terrible time.
Also, at Jade back attacking ensures you are basically always safe from CC, the only exception being the totem which has knockdown AoEs but that's very telegraphed.

It's really difficult to judge the lethality of encounters in BDO as a new player.
Like I'm still rocking my Tuvala V and I was afraid of starting on World Bosses.....
So far I did Karanda and today Kutum, both on normal mode, but they were an absolute joke?
Karanda barely scratched me and Kutum didn't move my HP bar by a single pixel....

Then on the other hand while questing I sometimes encounter these "Gatekeeper" mobs who annihilate me in seconds.....

But there is almost nothing in between. (Hystria was mildly entertaining.)
It either falls with a single click or I fall down in a second.

Tho getting World Bosses on Nightmare mode is supposed to be an entirely different story.....?
And it'll prolly improve as I progress thru the content zones.
