Restarted a few times until I found a world spawn I was happy with. Found this spot a few minutes away from my spawn. Little valley surrounded by a couple of snowcapped mountains with a few small lakes. It's not perfect, but it's pretty nice. I would have prefered if the mountains were of peridot cause that's my favorite rock
Explored the surrounding area for a week looking for any place that might be a better base and for some resources. Didn't find anywhere more suitable. Finally built a little hovel, which will be the base of my eventual wizard tower

I found an area that was giving me INSANE high levels of copper, average 15% in a cluster of several prospected chunks. I dug down in the one spot that had actual copper on the ground, but found only malachite. Granted, it was the biggest vein I'd found yet, but upon further inspection, the prospect only showed round 1-2% of malachite, and this was close to the surfac. I take this to mean that there is, an INSANELY huge vein of copper ore deep in the bowels of the earth?? Did I find a place with literally THOUSANDS of copper??
