Dober's issue of not feeling good enough to live up to the Mejiro name gets resolved almost instantly at the start of Classic year and from then on nothing happens other than Dober saying she wants to race. Her androphobia doesn't really factor into her career in any significant way and there's no interesting drama or character development. I do like Dober but her story was one of the least interesting that I've played.

The greatest strength of MANT is that runs don't feel like they're over until the very end. I've had runs that looked pretty bad, but then just a couple good training sessions puts me back in the game. I never got that feeling in Unity, in there the RNG felt way too harsh and recovering was near impossible. One bad event turns into two into three into way too many and there's no recovering.
