If you were to bring your own fronts, hypothetically you could get into a good position assuming the other people didn't bring their own. There are also a lot of dominators running around so once again if you load up with mid-race you can get ahead of the clump. I don't think it's the best team comp this time around, and it relies on everyone not running fronts, but I find Xoguri + debuffers way more common out in the wild rather than front teams.

A question for JPfags, in jp every uma has a quadrillion skills, as we know. Skills allow you to "break" PDM by using target speed skills, you won't get PDM while you're accelerating to that speed, so how does PDM work when every uma can ignore PDM?

If you wanted to, you could take 2 passives and uma stan and groundwork, let uma stan's proc be your 3rd skill and then you'd zip up faster, but again, game mechanics - from starting 17m/s, front and pace go up to ~20m/s, but late and end only go up to 18.5m/s until mid-race then they accelerate again up to 20m/s So bigger acceleration early doesn't really help them since they're only going half way. The thing that helps them the most is just breaking that PDM early.
