Let's say there aren't any runners, which is common nowadays, then what do the users do all day? They just talk, this seems harmless at first but over time people disagree, get into arguments, and hold grudges. This sours the experience for most people, and I cannot stand it. I've observed it happening in every community I've interacted with, and while I didn't see it firsthand in Tooner.s, I did see other posting habits that turned me away. I also found that besides Dandy's, I don't have the same interests as other anons, and so there wasn't much to talk about. On the thread side of things, it's pretty obvious why I wouldn't want to browse or post here anymore, given the state of things.If you're asking in general, I answered that in the post. There's less reason to post in the threads than there is to post in the outside chats because those provide better experiences overall. This becomes a cycle where more people leave the threads and stop browsing as often, making the threads more dead, pushing more posters to consider using the outside chats. I can't speak for everyone here, and you can try to artificially increase posting by telling anons in Tooner.s to use both the threads and the chat, but it's not going to be a long term fix. There's no problem in that, given the options we were presented with, this was the best outcome. It does suck, but like I said it is what it is. Toon universe has the style but removing distractors just kinda further highlights just how shallow the dandylike genre is gameplay wise, there's no distraction system or noise mechanic like in even the most basic of stealth games, even outlast trials added in bottles and bricks because they realized needing to hide all the time would suck and kill the pace in a multiplayer game

But even that wouldn't push him over the edge. He'd have to apologize but still continue to be frustrated, unable to put his feelings into words, since he's been repressing them this whole time. But with the amount of time that's passed, other toons would notice, I think he'd need to talk about his feelings with one of them. Sprout would be the best option, him and Dyle are somewhat close, and Sprout would notice his change in behavior. Can Sprout provide proper counsel? Can Dyle fix his relationship with his handler in time? Or will Dyle's handler transfer away, thinking they were making him miserable? Who knows...

From seeing the dev gameplay webms, loaffle does experience the recoil and kickback from the shotgun shot but given how large it is compared to loaffle, she must have some really fucking strong arms and wrists, I wouldn't be surprised if she could slightly lift if not pick someone in this thread up and carry them around.

finally playing toon universe, the voice acting is indeed horrible but so far it feels more complete then dandy's world, actually having sound effects and music REALLY helps make it feel like a game and not just a proof of concept, the game FEELS better but i'm not gonna say it is a better game exactly, it still shares flaws with dandy's world like a lack of real end game progression and i can tell it'll have issues with variety but it actually has a better foundation then dandy, not as strong of one as dollygame i doubt we'll ever be as powerful as the plushies from that game anywhere else
