It's still strong for lates, and no offense to that guy but that Princess isn't on that same level as that Taishin. I've heard people describe lates as high skill ceiling this time around. You really need to just pump them full of every mid-late speed boost + 5-6 accels. The summer golshi allowing dominator everywhere is a big deal. You don't see many people running it but it's strong if it can let a princess beat the three meta demons for this course yeah

That said, I don't blame people for not mutating for late, it's kind of difficult and annoying and I just went with end in my case. Idk, I think it's a damn good Taishin and I'm pretty sure it'd rape most people here if it was allowed to bring it's dominators.

You're obviously a bit gimped by wanting to borrow FineMo, and the fact she agemason'ed you is salt in the wound, but you got LaaF and GW so it's pretty much the same as getting agemasen'ed by Bakushin instead. Sprinting Gear is trash iirc, and probably would have been better to get double circle corners and savvy or something, but that's very marginal. I don't even have Head On, and don't really care since SfV and Blossom is more then enough accel plus Ignited PWR as a gamble though Head On is obviously better, since you don't get to pick everything that goes right and wrong. The other thing that I personally think is non-negotiable is Shrewd Step on top of your GW to really rocket out of the gate to the point that I've had Late Starts that still were in front of the pace blob because they hit all their early game accel. You just generally lack midrace, imo, and went too heavy on late race stuff instead of getting stuff to secure your win condition instead of win harder. Paces that get the accels are so fucking strong that they don't need to invest heavily into win harder, it's just more important to ensure that you're in position in the first place; it's very akin to the Front arms race where Angling is so important that like a solid 1/3 of their SP is spent on early race and then most of the rest on midrace.

Oguri can and has won from the promoted pace position because she still has Pulse and also duels with 1200 guts are fucking hilarious. In that replay you can see her hit a duel with, I think with one of the opponent's Taikis, as she gets overtaken which starts to see her gain on my Taiki at the end. However, I'm also fine with any of my team members winning, and so if one of the 3 gets promoted pace, I trust the other two to pick up the slack because all 3 of them are strong enough to do it if they hit the accels. Occasionally losing due to only one of my umas getting out of the gates well happened only like once, if that, in all 60 races so far.
