But techniques are cheapest in Junior year so it's easier to push for them there if you had a really good start with a bunch of rainbows or Light Hello gave you tokens.

If you've got 4 and are super rich after the 1st or 3rd concert, you can consider pushing for the 5th but not buying it since techniques increase in cost every year so the cost of pushing for the 5th song is comparable to the cost of unlocking the next song. Normally, you're not that rich and still missing a song you really want, but if one you'd really prioritize managed to avoid you, it can be worth pushing to ensure it's in the 3 that you're gonna be offered before new songs get added

The autorun is weird and favors stuff like race bonus so that's why that tier chart has SRs like Tosho and Windy higher than Tachyon/Kita. Marvy Power is really strong in auto mode due to her high race bonus.Here's my current auto GL deck, haven't experimented too much as it just werks but this is my lowest score yet, was getting in the 18K+ range past few runs. Need to get over about 17.5K score to hit SS. As you can see she's doing a decent amount of G1s, got her up to dirt C with the grandparents

It takes buying a lot of useless golds, but I find the increased white spark odds are worth it over fishing for tips with a regular deck but no SS. You could try it if you have decent great grandparents already made. Also you don't even need any speed cards so you can replace them with stam and use stamina mode. Welfare Biwa stam works well in auto.
