I didn't think it gelled well with the other Somni toons. (Shermie is already little depressed and serious)Somni's Engine doesn't have an asshole toon, and I thought that could be fun. Her big forehead + glasses + twintails already leaned into the bratty look. So I wanted to try that angle.I'm not sure which version I like better. But I think I'm done drawing her anyways so I guess it doesn't really matter.
