Playing MS classic, honestly it's pretty boring. It really doesn't feel right, I think it's the changes they made. A lot of the games MMOD has played have been better. It feels like playing Priston, you're just constantly chugging potions and holding down whatever button kills stuff fastest.

While the next MMO is being decided, how about some kind of party MMO that can be played in between? In regards to the poll, I think it's because E&B, as a video game, sucks. It doesn't help that the game jannies immediately got on everyone's case when we make the same names we always do in every game. Some of them being even tamer than usual and still getting jannied.

Like if anyone seriously had positive thoughts about that game, that killed a lot of excitement for it. I suspect AQ3D will bring us back to 20-30 players.

Picture time is great and it's one of the few times all of us get to see each-other in-game with how all of these themepark hell games are structured where anyone even 5 levels apart never sees one another as they're ferried from quest themepark to quest themepark. This game being the worst to where we could have played for years and never seen one another because of how retarded the faction system is set up.

Fantastic group synergy, really fun to explore the whole galaxy, in depth systems that most of us only minutely scratched the surface of.
Combat was the biggest failing point of the game, but I consider it one of the better games we've played and i'm glad I got to experience it.

How many hours did you end up playing to get to that point? I saw nobody in-game that I knew. Granted, I didn't play for very long because yeah, the combat was very boring. I'm glad it has some semblance of systems but I can't imagine anyone could play long enough to ever experience them in-depth.

Was it ever to the point where people were partying in-game? I only ask because the faction system set everyone up to basically be impossible to ever organically play with one another unless you broke out of some really long faction quest.

An anon and I were trying out the combat but its weighted to only work well if you are on the same level combat wise. Otherwise combat XP is poor due to it sharing it between while boosting group combat level. Explore XP however was great while partnering.

Yeah but thats only for combat, you can have a formation with 5 new players lead by an explorer with a 50+ level difference and if you find navpoints for them to discover, they get huge XP and you get XP for leading them to it. So oldheads would oraganize tour routes to powerlevel back when the game was live.

I played it before and I jumped back when it was picked. But I never stuck around. I actually liked the story for that game. I might get back into it to see if the story got updated. I've only played the Academic story line.

I thought it was so cool that the map itself changed depending on the class you picked. I really wish I'd been able to focus on it. I was just watching streams all the last two weeks so I thought for sure I'd spend more time playing, but it got to the point where it was easier to just focus on the stream rather than restarting the game every map. I'm hoping we start re-visiting some of the older ones that seemed more interesting than the mobile trash that's in the lineup now and participation picks back up.

We should really do at least once every three months where we have a revisit poll filled with really good oldies and then have new ones. I'd like to try some of the mechanics we didn't really understand in a lot of games until it was too late to really take advantage of them. Like I didn't know about all the weird stuff you could do with the relationship system in Lucent Heart until people started going "MAAAN ISN'T IT A SHAME WE JUST FINISHED AND NO ONE TRIED THE WEIRD RELATIONSHIP SYSTEM?" like how tf was I supposed to know? It's not like I had ever played it before. Same thing with all the weird stuff you could do in SWG if you owned a house and land. I think some of us kind of scratched the surface of the whole Jedi concept it had, but it was so obtuse who would ever think to try it unless they were following a guide?

By the way, I would like to note how there was some kind of information blackout about the relationship system in Lucent Heart when that game was going. Seriously, go look up how many people even mentioned the dating system, it's like everybody decided that people would make it weird, so everyone collectively agreed to never mention it or ask for invites.
