It's the Sunshine Tour, this time featuring two new drivers and 4 new karts.
they could be worse, at least they're not paywalled, mario can be obtained by doing challenges and luigi with rubies.
>>1792456As for the karts, the red one is with rubies, the ice one is a regular gift, the rainbow one appears in the token shop and the yellow one is a gold pass gift.
>New ContentWAHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
The rainbow one is definitely the coolest one, like an anon said previously, depending on their future coverage, they might fill some annoying gaps, like boo lake r/t
Since I couldn't ask on past thread, did you get wiggler and his egg kart?
>>1792464I only got them the first cup I sorta got lazy the second cup.
Despite being called tiny titan, it's not that tiny I think, its hitbox is probably on the medium level
>>1792461>all useless itemsWell that was a whole lotta nothin'.
>>1792464>>1791989Luckily I decided to just go for it, because I felt my loadout for the Sunshine tour was decent enough to make at least 2nd place if push came to shove, so yeah, I got Wiggler and now I can get the new items anyway, too.
The fact that they added one of these worthless karts behind gold pass is Laughable.
>>1792605I think it's pretty benign that they just ask for a little payday from autistic completionist collectors and give away the rest of the new content for free.
>>1792464Yes>>1789451 (me)Result: 1st place. #2 passed me on D4, but then I passed him and it held for the rest of the week.>>1789938 (me)First impression: Definitely not the worst case. Looks like the new karts might serve at best as gap fillers on tracks that need them. The drivers are just collector items. Glad it's not a big ruby drain.
>>1792605have you always expected every gold pass item to be useful?
>>1792464Yes, won easily, didn’t screenshot my friend list ranking but I was 6thI should have the ACR badge in the bag too
Reposting bonus point multipliers
And the mii and plus skill driver chart
sometimes tier 99 rank screenshots are surprisingly funny to me, so many low scorers
>>1792475>all useless itemsThey have good coverage for this tour...
>>1793898...and they have a whole year's worth of track buffs to look forward to.
for all anyone knows, one or more of the new karts could be coverage beasts esp. for new players not already committed to other karts. I'd almost even bet right now the rainbow one becomes the most useful kart a new player can dump tickets into to cover cookie land.
>>1793593Week 2 next tour (Vacation) will be a good chance to invest in the new drivers, especially Mario Mechanic.Peach Circuit R/T and Squeaky Clean Sprint R have very few drivers worth investing in, mostly just weak Miis. If Mario Mechanic covers both of these tracks, it may be worthwhile to level it up.
I wonder how people who frequently do ACR handle awkward top shelves like these, in my case I have nothing invested here
>>1794055I watched @denneappol use an 8-4 toad pit crew in ranked instead of bothering to level up his white tanooki mario, so I'll bet top players use 8-4 supers all the time as fillers for acr
>>1794055If you're a veteran player, meaning, someone who has been playing since the gacha days, it's guaranteed you will have plenty of that filler-ish coverage for tracks like that. For example, gold koopa appeared several times on special gold pipes, so he should be a high level staple and that track also has the dk suit that has ranked appearances and a good item.Same case for the gliders, the heart balloons one constantly appears in random pipes.
>>1794088how do you pick which of these acr items to use uncap tickets on first?
>>1794109I have Rosalina (Swimwear) at lvl 6 and the Yoshi Egg glider pops up a couple times in ranked and is only a super. Otherwise I probably wouldn't see any as great investments, so it's a good question for non vet players.
>>1794126I mean, do you spend base point uncap tickets on them? not levels.
>>1794126>>1794129me again, to clarify, why would you recommend the heart balloons to anon when he has the eggshell glider already maxed out? unless you use uncap tickets on it, it's worse even at level 8.
>>1794055Petey Mii had a Mii boost in a tour in March. Now I have Rosa Swimsuit (8/3), Prop Kart (8/2), Piranha Plant Balloons (8/3). DK Mii (7/2) is an alternate driver for token collecting.
>>1794082>>1794088More examples of awkward topshelves I had, these are more common for me on once-per year tracks (like these Sydneys) or really old tracks (like last tour’s Dino Dino)I know there’s Gold Yoshi and Larry and Pauline there but none of these drivers have been very useful to me (although Pauline does have Twilight House and I’ve been making do with a lv 4 Meowser on that every time it isn’t mii boosted)
>>1794310level 6 dry bowser is better there than level 4 gold yoshi if you have the patience to pull off 2 meaty bowser shell frenzies. I'm assuming your nabbit mii is low level or it would be even better.winter larry has been far more useful for me than cowgirl pauline. your level 6 gladiator dk probably overlaps with her a lot. personally I hate boomerang drivers for battles. on the topic of battles, if you don't already have coverage for new york minute b, gold egg yoshi is very useful there and would solve your problem on both these sydney courses.
How do I unlock dk jr
>>1794624He will be in the shop’s pool when he has a top shelf in the tour’s ranked so not this tour unfortunately, the closest will be the Summer Tour where he has LA Laps 3N
I made Pipe Tour ACR! First time getting an ACR badge since I started playing in 2022 right before the loop tours startedI went from having around 350 item tickets down to only 30 or so, how do people who go for ACR regularly manage to have item tickets I wonder Not too sure if I’ll try for ACR again since it took a while and used up so many of my item tickets
>>1795004congrats!
Also, I noticed this on today’s current ACR rankings, funny
>>1795004congrats>How do people who go for ACR regularly manage to have item tickets?I buy the premium challenges every tour.>Not too sure if I’ll try for ACR againThe nice thing about playing for ACR is that the investments pay off in many future tours, which makes it easier. Unlike ranked, where you might level up something and only use it once a year.>>1795182cool
>>1795182just one missed late-combo jump boost...
>>1795182Big move up today.Mariah got an extra coin.
W1 update: Easy 1st place. 4 Tier 99 opponents: 1 serious, 2 casual, 1 no-show.If passed, next move is either Boo Pipes Lv8 or Yellow Mii Lv8.
>>1796861Update: Passed but regained 1st after spending tickets and regrinding.Daisy Cruiser: Yellow Mii went from Lv7/2c to Lv8/3c. Boo Pipes was already Lv8/3c and I quad capped it.Sydney Sprint R: Tuxedo Mario (Lv8/3c) got quad capped. I already have a Lv8/4c Astro Toad, but this is a terrible boomboxing track. I was also temped to take my Gold Mario (Lv7/2c) up to Lv8 because the top scores seem to be higher among my Tier 99 friends. But coinboxing is just easier.Lakeside Park: No change.
I also took this awful Sushi Racer kart from Lv7 to Lv8 for ACR. It was a frequent reward in Gold Pipes which I never invested in.I needed to unlock Cheep-Cheep Island R (Lv8 unlock) because I had no other decent kart for it, except maybe Yellow Offroader (Lv6/2c) which I rarely use.
>>1794036...and it will all be tracks I already have well covered.
They need to retard proof the shop. I bought a Mii and then went to hit the x at the bottom and my finger slipped and I bought it again at full price. I'm surprised they never made a 'confirm you want to buy this' idiot filter. I was going to buy Tropical Balloons, but now I don't know.

>>17990532nd place, Sydney 1R really sucks
I got stuck behind this gate and it made me sit there so long the race was basically over by the time it reset. Didn't know that could happen. It likes to violently jerk me in one direction or the other on this jump.

Wonderful Diamond also covers a gap for me on Paris 1R/T in Week 1 ranked next tour.
>>1800928 (me)Loadouts for W1 Vacation Tour, since I will be phone posting next week. >>1800928>level 3, 2, and even 1 items>owns maxed-out gold hard hatmokkun's equipment is baffling
It’s funny how the perception to rolling coins and the coinbox in MKT couldn’t be more different to how it feels in World; in MKT you are actively hoping to get a coinbox with every item box but in World you’re praying to not roll the coinbox
watched a video where a tour player played world for the first time and got excited for a moment when he rolled a coinbox and boomerang at the same time
Even though I said there were some bad topshelves this tour and I wasn’t going to grind ACR again, I ended up barely beating the current projected cutoff of 2.05 mil, wonder if this will be enough…
>2.187 milAlright this should definitely be enough, easier than I expected to get this score too
Don’t forget to obtain the mechanics and the Tiny Titans before the tour ends since we don’t know if they’ll ever appear again
Did you get gold koopa?
Very interesting that the cool titan got squeaky clean sprint R, a track that has only small and medium karts and a shitty large one as top shelf, it automatically became the best option there, if it keeps getting sneaky buffs like that, it might become an actual good investment.
>>1804201Yes>>1800928 (me)Mou-kun tried to pass me, but I held him off. 1st place
>>1804247Nice buff for the new kart. It would’ve been nice to see Mario or Luigi Mechanic buffed on Peach Circuit R/T with its bad top shelf.
>>1804201yep, my accounts are now t91 and t81
>>1804201Late reply but yeah, should have ACR in the bag too
Yay, kind of wish I was closer to or exactly at 666th place because that’d fit with my nameParty Polka is also on my friend list and it’s cute to be placed so close
>>1804439W1 update: 1st place with 4 Tier 99 opponents. The Top 10 player scared me, but he has no driver better than Lv6 Swim Rosa on Squeaky Clean Sprint. I already took Wonderful Diamond to Lv8/2c for Paris 1R/T, but still haven't beat my own all-time high score (53.2k).Vacation Tour means the Miis are taking a rare vacation this week...
>>1807436MKT + travel FYI: WiFi on US domestic airlines is now fast enough to play both regular mode and multiplayer. MP dropout rate and lag is no worse than home internet.
Did you get the green birdo set?
>>1809114Yes, it was easy
>>1809114Yes>>1807436 (me)1st place, no problem.>>1809355The game is almost getting too easy.
>>1809114yep, accounts are now at tier 92 w/level 6 items and 82 w/level 5-6 items. I'm playing with several artificial restrictions for both preference and additional challenge.
Fun fact, the Green Turbo Birdo is the worst ranked super from the loop if you look at ranked tracks only- it only has 2 ranked tracks, and they are both this week, meaning that it has no ranked appearances anywhere else in the entire year
Ranking for most purchased drivers and most used miisI have questions about the most used mii list, like how on earth is Black mii the second most used? (I’ve never used that mii) And why did Larry mii and ? block mii not make the list when Larry mii is one of the best miis in the game and ? block mii is given free twice during this time period
Wait, am I blind the ? block mii is right there in 1st place…That just leaves my question of why Larry mii didn’t make it
2 questions if I may. Is this game playable on a game controller? and is it still worth playing today? Or should I just pirate Mario kart double dash instead? Thanks.
>>1811945nohonestly not really, but it's a good mario kart fix on your phone with no play limitand absolutely
>>1811856>black miitwilight house maybe>>1811945>controllerit's not designed for it but some people have mapped game gestures to controllers using android apps or in chromeos. I don't think it's worth doing.>worth playingit's the biggest and best mario kart game. it's the only one with a combo system and inventory management including item levels that no other mario kart game has. but yeah if all you want to do is finish in first place all the time, play something else. in tour, you have to finish in first place while performing a whole bunch of other actions.
>>1812298>>1812304Thanks anons. I'll probably look elsewhere.
>>1812426For what it’s worth the game isn’t designed or meant to be played with a controller, Mario Kart controls adapt surprisingly well to touchscreen
>>1812470>Mario Kart controls adapt surprisingly well to touchscreenI disagree, the "arrow" controls have always felt too slippery and the only alternative is "always drifting" which I use but is still weird to always be driftingI was hoping they would add bluetooth controller support too
>>1812470automatic acceleration, no braking, and automatic jump boosts make it possible>>1812503true that normal steering controls poorly, but it's only useful in very few instances since mini turbos are so crucial for maintaining combos in tour
>>1812537>normal steering controls poorly, but it's only useful in very few instancesReally? I’ve been playing the game for almost 3 years and the only times I’ve ever changed the controls were to complete that purple mini turbo challenge in the Spring Tour each year, the default controls feel fine to me
>>1812539normal steering = not drifting. are you not almost always drifting?and you shouldn't have to change controls as long as you have the steer/drift button visible, whether you have manual drift on or not
>>1812541These are my settings, I drift as much as possible
>>1812548these are tough settings to drift with. you're only torquing into mini turbos during long turns. if you just make the steer/drift button visible, at least you'd add the ability to start drifts without turning when using the button.
>>1812575>the ability to start drifts without turning I really didn’t know you could do that, I always tend to break my combos on longer straightaways like this where it was difficult to begin a turn and start drifting
>>1812582yeah, you still do have to turn into the drift in order for sparks to build up fast enough to combo, but at least the drifting itself starts much earlier whether you're turning or not. as long as you've started a drift, you can even build up sparks (slowly) while leaning into a turn in the opposite direction. I do this sometimes to swing wide and touch coins on the outer edge of a turn.if you start to prefer that steering method, you can turn on manual steering also. it makes drifting the default and puts normal steering on the button for when you need it.
>>1812593But I’m so used to the default steering style, when i switched to manual drifting for that Spring Tour challenge i struggled a bit with it, I might just stick to what i’ve been doingNot sure why the default controls seem to be disliked by a lot of people when i feel like they’re perfectly fine and feel a lot better than say, water driving in MK World
>>1812548I also leave manual drift off. Tried online tutorials, but agree (>>1812616) that it's difficult to manual drift. Default drift doesn't hurt ability to compete in ranked because the game algorithm matches you against players of similar skill. But it will reduce scores, especially on tracks where it's hard to hold combo.Smart steering tries to pull me away from track shortcuts sometimes so I just always leave it off. Auto item is a personal preference, but having it on drops your defense while items load so it should be turned off for battles and multiplayer.
>>1809851 (me)W2 update: 1st place against 3 weaker Tier 99s.Peach Circuit R/T is the worst ranked track of the loop. I was going to invest in Pink Mii, but probably don't need to.In hindsight, I did a bad job with glider investment efficiency and have a constant need for glider cap tickets. This will be a focus the next time around the loop.
>>1813825 (me)I am also collecting stuff for fun because there's nothing left to save rubies for after last tour's MKW promo items.Drivers: I have 15 missing drivers left to collect (Mario Happi, Yoshi Egg Hunt, Builder Mario, Builder Toad, Builder Luigi, Penguin Toad, Penguin Mario, Penguin Toadette, Golf Luigi, Dr. Mario, Dr. Luigi, King Boo L.M., Gold Shy Guy, Dr. Bowser, Gold Chuck). Gold Chuck will be the last because of his greedy debut gacha pipe.Karts: I'm not going for complete set, just the interesting ones that look cool. 24 missing karts for a complete set, and many are holiday themed for Halloween and Xmas.Gliders: Impossible to get a complete set since some of the Hanafudas are unavailable. I'm hoping Nintendo eventually increases availability and decreases the price of shop items. I am missing all 12 Hanafudas and 10 other gliders (22 total missing gliders).
>>1813819steering layout preference isn't really that important as long as the steer/drift button is visible imo, unless you really never fall back on the control scheme you're locking out. I use them both so I need it.I leave smart steering on for pretty much every course except daisy circuitauto-item is automatically disabled for single-player battles even if you have it on
>>1814091Daisy Circuit regular and T have always been the only tracks I ever switched smart steering off on, the rest of the game plays fine with it Also could you post your FC so we can compare scores? I also send coins daily

>>1815602W1 status: 1st place against 3 Tier 99's. I am worried about a lurker in 16th place.I have Chef Rosalina at Lv8/3c for Madrid 1N. Maybe I should pick her over DK Gladiator (Lv8/4c) and take her to 4c.
>>1817994 (me)Collecting (>>1813832): Got the Gold Wild Slugger on sale for 70 rubies, and Dr. Bowser for 150 rubies in the Daily Spotlight. Luigi Golf is on sale for 105 next week.Investing: Gold Home Field gives me coverage on some of the LA tracks, so I took it up from 6/2 to 8/2. Spicy Zucchini keeps coming up for me in online coverage optimzer tools, so I took it from Lv1 to Lv8 (now 2c). It helps me for ACR this tour on Madrid 1R, Berlin 2N, and Tokyo 2N, and it's in ranked next week for Berlin 1R. It also overlaps coverage this tour with a lot of old crappy karts that I don't want to invest in.
>>1818170Spicy Zucchini is a top 20 kart, if you count medium size and up.If I take Gold Egg Yoshi (ranked next week - Berlin 1R), Thai Daisy (ranked Anniversary Tour - Madrid 3N), and Gold Knight Luigi (ranked Sundae Tour - Luigi Circuit R/T Lv8) up to Lv8, then I'll have every coinboxer at Lv8 above (including) Rosa Swimwear, except Peach Vacation (Lv2) and Gold Chuck (do not have).
>>1818180are you intentionally not getting gold chuck or just not seeing him in your shop
>>1818187I am intentionally avoiding Gold Chuck. He appears in my shop 1-2 times per year, and I pass.

>>1820104yes>>1817994Result: 1st place. The lurker arrived on day 6, but I held him off. No tickets spent. My Chef Rosa couldn't outscore DK Gladiator on Madrid 1N.
>>1819299Guesses: (speculation only)1. Anniversary Tour announcement, possibly including some special discounts or added features in the game. 2. Next time around the loop is the last before EOS in Sept./Oct. 2026.3. Transition to an offline MKT, like what happened to Animal Crossing.

>>1820344W2 update: 1st place against 3 Tier 99's. Lots of unusual karts are being used this week, since it's tough to cover the older city tracks for Paris and Berlin.
>>1822481Update: I just had an insane lucky 80k run on Paris B. 199 action count with Mario Tuxedo getting constant single coinboxes and coinbox frenzies, just going back and forth over the single row of item boxes on the curved back stretch.I also remembered to use Lv8 Spicy Zucchini on Berlin 1R and bought Luigi Golf as planned (>>1818170).
>>1823322Investments: The online optimizer tool (link below) told me that Gold Comet filled the most high end kart gaps in my account, and it noticeably helps a lot in this tour. So I took Gold Comet from Lv1 to Lv8/2c.https://coverageoptimizer.pythonanywhere.comAccording to the optimizer, I need a minimum of 36 high end Lv8 karts to cover all 425 loop tracks. Now I have 29. The remaining 7 gaps have some flexibility in which karts I choose, although Gold Driver seems to come up often, along with a few karts that I already have at Lv7 (esp. Black Sneeker and Firefly). Baby Rosalina Detective is a personal favorite, plus she covers a gap on Tokyo 1T in this tour. So I promoted her from Lv4 to Lv8/2c. She is very unique and fun to use in multiplayer.
>>1824135FYI: Here's what the optimizer data output looks like.
>>1824135Don’t want to sound mean, but choosing to upgrade Baby Rosalina Detective over Larry Mii is certainly a very bold choice….
>>1824551Thanks for the tip. I didn't even notice that Larry Mii was top shelf on that track!
Man, there were still so many weird topshelves in this tour for me, those Berlins in particular suck
I haven't played ranked yet. I haven't even finished maxing base points on what I'm going to use. we'll see if I get rekt tomorrow.
>>1825040My drivers:Berlin 2T: Kamek (Lv8/3c)Tokyo 2N: Bowser Mii (Lv7/3c) Berlin 2N: Pinja (Lv7/4c)LA 3R: Meowser (Lv8/4c)Berlin 2R: Kamek (Lv8/3c)
This tour makes me wonder why the Berlin and Madrid music didn’t get remixed in World, like two of the biggest bangers in recent Mario Kart history just left out of World like that? When lame songs like Tokyo and Merry Mountain got to be in World?
Did you know that on Piranha Plant Cove 3T you can trick off the raised pillar and that's the intended route to keep the combo? One of many small things about PPC in general that failed to translate into the MK8 version
>>1825055base points done and I'm at 6-2 to 6-3 on all items in my tier 93 account except I'll have to use red birdo in paris b. current 1st-3rd are serious players with underleveled equipment like me. they've been raising their scores all week and might continue today.on the t82 acct, I'll have to use a level 4 driver even though my baseline there is level 5 items. just to get it to level 4 I still have have to coin rush a few times and buy an overpriced tier shop ticket. feels extra nice to win ranked in the face of f2p resource starvation, so I'll see what I can do. current 1st-3rd place are all using level 7-8 meta items, but going by their badges and low scores they seem to be casual old timers just hanging out permanently in the tier 80s. level 4 driver though, idk. score might be in the 20s on that course which will not do the job. 7% frenzy chance needs so much time to grind too.haven't even done any bonus challenges or gotten today's extra coins yet. very busy past 2 weeks. I'll start ranked after collecting those on both accounts, and yet I'll still have more time afterward for ranked today than last tuesday.>>1825371I like tour's berlin march so much more than 8 deluxe's because the synth is more aggressive. maybe if it ever reaches world someday they'll improve on it.>>1825477I didalso for reference, when falling through water, there are three ways to prevent losing combo:1. of course, use an instant-effect item or time a delayed-effect item in advance. hitting another driver gives you the most combo time.2. charge a mini turbo with autodrift before falling, then release it in mid-fall3. swipe up to nosedive the kart so it lands earlier to try to interact with whatever's down there or even start a new drift asap. I don't have any level 8 high end gliders so completing a mini turbo that late after a long drop never works for me, but for all I know it might work with +30% combo timing.good luck all
>>1825600aaand no, I failed to make enough time for ranked. just like last week I'll be splitting 3 hours between 2 accounts, starting now.
Did you get the blooper suit?
>>1825807yes>>18233221st place. Massive 50k win.
>>1825600>I like tour's berlin march so much more than 8 deluxe's because the synth is more aggressive. maybe if it ever reaches world someday they'll improve on it.I do have to agree in the end, I enjoy hearing the Berlin music in Tour whenever it’s around, the 8 version feels a little off now And on that topic, whocj version of Vancouver is your favorite? There’s 3 versions now and while I think they’re all good, the original Tour version might still be the best because there’s something ethereal or otherworldly about the original that neither remix really captured; I kind of wish the World Vancouver remix was based off the original instead of the 8 version

>>1825932have you heard these?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=223kLyMxC7Yhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGft-S2503EI just gave the 3 vancouver arrangements a fresh listen again. I like them all a lot. the original is clean and the compressed drum samples are snappy. the swooshing sound representing the vancouver wind blends in with the rest of the song subtly. it's a more complete song than most small phone or tablet speakers can play properly because of the quiet bass line. those things probably contribute to the ethereal feeling you're talking about and I like it too.I think I prefer the 8 deluxe version. they use a higher resolution version of that punchy instrument (whatever it's called) for the bass line as the original snes super mario kart, which is a killer touch for me and makes it more pronounced. same for the 3-note bell jingle they use as an accent, it's loud and clear compared to the quiet one in the original that people might not even notice. to me it's an additional hint at the crisp vancouver coldness. I bet nintendo brought all the instruments forward to improve how they'd sound on the small switch speakers in handheld mode after noticing what you can't hear on most phones in tour.the full band arrangement of the world version is great. I like the bass break into guitar and trumpet solos. I don't play world but I can imagine how cool it would feel to be contending for the lead when that part starts. the biggest problem I have with this version is it doesn't play into the vancouver weather theme at all like the other two versions. it's just a bold, jazzy song that's really nice to listen to but misses the point of the original. it could fit in any other city course.
>>1826198>makes it more pronounced >the 3-note bell jingle they use as an accent, it's loud and clear compared to the quiet one in the original The 8 version is good yeah, but I think those are also why I like it a bit less than the original, they made those parts too loud and too harsh, if you get what I mean? I actually didn’t notice the 3-note bell in the original until I heard the 8 version, but after I did I appreciated it in the original more because it was softer and more subtle (adding to that ethereal feeling), same for the less harsh-sounding violins in the original And yeah I heard those Berlin mashups back in 2022, I definitely preferred the mashups compared to the plain 8 version, I liked hearing the flute from 8 alongside the original too
Even more weird topshelves for me, this time the karts and gliders, especially the karts…
And I still have even more bad topshelves, feels like the Vanilla Lakes really have it out for me
>>1826243>>1826251white turbo birdo and luigi parafoil keep leveling themselves up for me. they're both level 5 now.
>>1825807Quite late but yeah, 27 out of 30 wins for the extreme challenges now
Considering Ice World R this week and the upcoming double ranked Amsterdam 3, would it be a good idea to upgrade Volendam further past lv 6 for these tracks?
>>1825929W1 status: 1st place. 3 Tier 99's - 1 tough, 1 mid, and 1 no-show.I already quad capped Yellow Mii and Dark Hop Rod. If needed, the next move might be a costly investment in Morton Mii for Vanilla Lake 2. But I'd keep trying with Gold Wiggler first.>>1827611I tried running with Rosa Volendam on Ice World R, but couldn't get any coinbox opponents to boombox it. So Gold Petey was the better choice. I think Amsterdam 3 is more of a natural boombox track, so I'd wait if you have another driver for Ice World R. But if you only have regular Petey (also boomerang), just go with Rosa V.
>>1828006My Gold Petey and Volendam Rosalina are both the same level and uncap, but:- Toolbox tells me that my maxed Pit Crew Toad outscores both, somehow- I’m going to have to upgrade Volendam for anniversary Amsterdam 3 anyway
>>1827611if I could replace volendam for amsterdam 3 based on how the rest of my lineup developed during the tour loop I would, but that would take tickets I don't have so I'll probably still her there.>>1828023>- Toolbox tells me that my maxed Pit Crew Toad outscores both, somehow8-4 super driver will outscore even a 7-2 or 6-3 high end driver with the same skill, so unless you plan on taking volendam all the way to to 8-2, 7-3, or 6-4, I wouldn't bother yet >>1793567
>>1828106Didn’t need to upgrade Volendam yet because I got this kino 205 AC run with Pit Crew ToadStill probably gonna have to upgrade her for next tour tho
>>182811460k with a super driver is amazing!
>>1828114whoa, great run
About that upcoming website update…. turned out to be a giant nothingburger, rip
>>1830780I thought it would just be related to the updated os requirement, honestly
Did you get the wiggler kart?
>>1831207Yes, pretty great performance this time28/30 extreme challenge wins!

>>1823322>>1813832Collecting: I bought 4 drivers this tour, so now only 9 remain to complete my collection. 6 of those who remain are on sale for 105 rubies in various tours: Builders Mario and Luigi (New Year), Doctors Mario and Luigi (Doctor), Mario Happi (Ninja), and Yoshi Egg Hunt (Yoshi). The other 3 are harder to get. King Boo Luigi's Mansion is only available in 2 tours (Halloween and Space). Builder Toad is available in 9 tours starting now through January, and is often in my shop but I only have 78 rubies left after my buying spree. Gold Chuck is rare, but can appear in any tour except Princess. He can wait until last.
>>1831469W2 update: 1st place over 5 other Tier 99s.
Did you get gringles?
Alright, morons. Ready to play another round of 'WHERE IN THE WORLD IS DETECTIVE BABY ROSALINA?" For those of you who didn't get her last time, get those quick tickets at the ready to re-roll dat shop over and over and over hoping for her to show up BUT NEVER WILL!!!!
>>1836896yes>>18344771st place. Easy win.>>1836916Got her! (>>1824135 = me)
Guess what; she appeared!…..On my burner multiplayer account, where it’d be a total waste of rubies to buy her! Hahaha….
Don’t forget to do your daily races every day this tour because of the unique 6th anni badge
>>1836916When I didn't get Detective Baby Rosalina last year, I told myself I'd get her this year. Well, now it's this year, and if I don't get her this year I don't think I can keep lying to myself, anons.

>>1838807Bro I sent a request, but nothing
>>1839435I accepted ya :)
>>1837044W1 update: 1st place versus 6 other Tier 99 opponents. I already had to spend a bunch of tickets on Petey Mii (Lv8/3c to Lv8/4c) and Thai Daisy (Lv6/2c to Lv7/3c).2nd place player could beat me easily by upgrading his Lv4 karts and gliders. He is a Top 100 with a 97k all time high score. If he passes me, I can take Thai Daisy to 8/4.
>>1839600Alright, looking at your low level…. Get all the discounted items in this tour (Royal Flush, Mario King, Luigi Gold Knight, Monarch Kart) with new player rubies; make sure you can get Gold Mario through this week’s rankings, and consider getting Toad Tourist and DK Gladiator full price through the shop
