Can anyone recommend me gacha games that encourage using a lot of characters? The game that made me use the most characters was Granblue Fantasy. The game strongly encourages having a team for every elements, since being on element makes such a huge difference in damage. There's 6 elements and 5 characters per team, so that's 30 in total. But then on top of that, the game also gives you some rewards (with a weekly cap) for using lower-rarity characters, so you might use even more characters for that. By comparison, a lot of modern gacha feel like I can get by using only 4-8 characters, which to me negates the point of gacha games having so many characters.
Any Hoyo-derivative has that element nonsense, which most people hate because it makes every character a must roll for.
>>1813928Of course lots of games have elements but they don't always encourage you to use multiple teams based on it, in fact a lot instead focus on having a diverse team because enemies will often feature enemies of different elements together.
>>1813910 The Battle Cats is really good for this, by early-mid game there's no way you can get away with throwing all the highest rarity units together and just win. Alot of crucial roles are filled much better by lower rarity, easier to obtain units. Because of that, the most important and powerful units in the game aren't actually the flashiest uber rares but the super rares and rares.A single tream is only ten units and there are easily dozens if not hundreds of viable units that you will be using in certain scenarios. You CAN make a one-size-fits-all team but only if you're an endgame player and really good at timing, and even then there are stages in the game that have odd quirks that force a different lineup. And endgame is like hundreds of hours into the game maybe even a thousand+. If you wanna start out I'd suggest lucas iv's beginner's guide on youtube. There's alot of people who consider the battle cats the best gacha game, or the best mobile game period. I don't play any other mobile/gacha, so I don't know about that, but it's a very popular opinion.
There are too many of them that fail at forcing elements just look at priconne. Sure you get to use a lot of different teams now (different elements and the characters do phys/magic damage) but character powercreep has gotten so bad and they dont even try to fix it.
>>1813910That sort of thing is rare because having to use many characters means you have to roll the gacha for them, which means you pretty much have to be a whale to even make any progress. By contrast, having to build only a small handful of characters makes it more F2P friendly, especially if they're perm characters. Personally, I prefer the former.Well, it'd be even better if the gacha game had only a small handful of characters but each of them has multiple different cards. Like most idol games.

>>1813910Morimens endgame requires you to use 5 teams of 4 characters (minumum) - and if you have even more characters to make a team with then you can do extra rounds of the endgame mode for extra points and rewards
