There's two subscriptions but the rewards for buying them aren't amazing and you could easily make do without. Eversoul is fun and has high production value but once you're settled you kinda run out of things to do. I wish I found the game earlier to be honest; it feels too late to help turn things around. The devs are just continuing to put out good content and don't seem to have a strategy for increasing profits.

You have to try the game; I'm probably doing a poor job describing it. It does fall into powercreep and meh gameplay traps that all gachas do. Starseed is an Eversoul copy but weaker gameplay, story, girls, setting, etc. Haven't tried Mirren. Last Origin and Snowbreak go too far down the gooner wormhole for my tastes. So in my book Eversoul is easily the #1 harem gacha game for men and nobody knows about it or wants to play it because it doesn't get any press (positive or negative).

Game is generous as the other anon said (so you'll get your meta characters just fine) and many new skins for existing non-alt characters are still great. Don't read too much into my qualms above.
