Don't invest in characters/weapons you're not going to use. Don't waste resources fishing in the general banner to fill out your pokedex early. etc. etc.

Also, to save problems just install the .deb from steam directlyinstead of the flatpak since that can also have permission issues.

To my knowledge, they've made no statements regarding if any skins will ever leave the shop or there being any kind of rotating availability.
