Hi there, I’m the Bday Threadbaker and I can confirm that a few years back the thread did indeed get deleted for the general issue! Though not only because of thread linking, but the whole thing about pasting guides and other links too! Rude! Thankfully, I make sure to copy paste threads on notes before posting in case of deletion or in case a page crashes so I can reupload!
These days, the rule is indeed gone where generals were forbidden, and I don’t have to hide it anymore. It’s the reason why to this day, I usually never write /crg/ in the OP, follow up nor the image! Juuuust in case! Honestly it doesn’t matter too much if I were to remove the last paragraph, because I usually get all the game info, questions and tips to fit into the two posts anyways! If there were ever a day where I’d have to split it into 3 posts, maybe I’d consider taking off the final paragraph! I’d rather do that than delete the questions! Besides, I believe keeping it as Cookie Run Games lets us stick out in our own way, while also making sure people searching for Cookie Run on the catalog will find us regardless!

Usually I look for cookie in the catalog, and real hoping as a costume collector, I can already get Escargot's upon release, if I need to save cubes for the eventual legendary outfits of Silent Salt and Awakened White Lily Cookie, or if the Chuseok with that Asparagus Legendary - it's cubes are enough for me to pull for Sundae (she's meta, then cute) and hopefully to pity Strawberry Mochi's maid outfit (also meta, and cute) - that's what I'd like in the near future. I spend most of my crystals on the treasure gacha,or on maxing out breakout session cookies.If I have leftover,I use them to upgrade those used in guild runs trophy run or the title events,in that order.Since you can spark any costume you want whenever in ovenbreak,I use my rainbow cubes instantly whenever I get enough for a pull.

I believe it's pretty much canon but it's never really addressed, seems like cookies can be baked fully formed and baked at any "age" they could be, we just see it with GingerBrave being made with the image, knowledge and seemingly personality of a teenager already, while Dragon Eye Cookie seems to be made like a younger kid, don't know if there are ones made already as adults now that I think about it, so instead of having the aging process from being a weird fucking dough baby cookies that reproduce have, whether it means they will age later or is a Les Enfants Terribles kind of deal or the inverse where they won't age at all who knows.

Mystic Flour had the best aesthetics, promotional art piece, and I actually enjoyed her entire plot even if they did cop out as it all being a dream. Her showdown with Dark Cacao felt like a proper confrontation that didn't absolutely humiliate (shadow milk) or defang (eternal sugar)her by the end. Wow this random breakout season is not fun.I get the theory behind it,you have to choose between bonus cookies who get a flat point bonus versus cookies that get more invitiations and keep track of which party planner has more so you can plan your build.But in reality a lot of bonus cookies are shi,rare bonus cookies appear too often and Candy Corn's cumulative buff comes too late to make a difference if you go for her.Firecracker is objectively better here,as long as you don't eat shit with the last runner.

My #12 run was mostly a test run where I stayed in mid 20s for most of it until Zombie got Sugar Glass's blessing and skyrocketed me to #8.The other run had dogshit RNG,enough said.

So instead of trying to kill everyone because of le corrupt witches, she's trying to find a different path to freedom. The problem is, we haven't exactly heard what her new plan is. So, she still seems like a self-righteous asshole. Talking about freedom without anyone knowing what she's thinking.

Throughout any WLC-heavy story, she's either absolved or her selfishness is used to progress the story. I was hoping the writers would have done the whole "too much freedom vs too little freedom" debate with WLC and SSC, but I guess that would have involved her having to take some blame for the central conflict of the story.

The story feels really rushed in the sense that we basically got to speedrun two chapters in one because the first part was just giving more and more backstory to silent salt to make him sympathetic compared to the beasts who at most is explained in 2 or 3 levels between cutscenes.
Hell even the transformation animation for WL feels way less impactful and really fast compared to all the others who took their long ass time and even some different artstyle between each, WL was just kind of glowing and then the transformation sequence animation was at like 3 frames per second.

Honestly the entire White Lily body double quantum split thing is such a fucking asspull that was never satisfyingly explained and probably never will be. They just needed her for the plot to work the way they wanted it so they just magiced her in and tell you to not really worry about it.

I know this has been touched on previously, but what is everyone's opinion on WL's awakened form? I want to like it. I can see what the design wants to do, but it feels like it suffers from the flaw of "style over substance."

Worst part is, her design can easily be fixed. The artists could have given her armor similar to Hilde's from Soul Calibur. Basically armor that matches her accessories, give her a short armor skirt, and armor her legs up. Alternatively, they could have given her a dress that had more armor on the way down. This one isn't the most practical, but it would at least limit the wind resistance from the dress.

I don't mind the color scheme as much, though I think it was a wasted opportunity to not use red for the dress, or at least more black than just for the hair tips.

If i had to guess its the rng, cause runs most of the times will just not give you what you want, no matter how many times you press the summon button, even if fully invested in summon%
But just to make sure im thorough, heres what you do
In hard mode, right as the run starts, summon till you are out of currency. Then get atk spd to level 3 and hope you get lucky. You are aiming for epic units, the more the better, this way you wont have problems with summoning the hero units.
Rare and epic units dont have recipes like the heroes do cause, the way it works is that if you summon a unit thats identical to one that you have, theyll fuse into a completly random unit that higher rarity (two commons get a random rare, two rares and random epic). I dunno how you are still able to get something like frost queen, as she requires two financiers, but that is what the game tells you.
Once you get at least two hero units, go all in on atk till it becomes too expensive, then go atk spd
I highly suggest to grind on normal mode first to level up your units tho

Started playing Tower of Adventure about five days ago and I managed to pull Wind Asparagus with the 20 rolls you can get using gems. Am I doing it right?

Those you used, plus all the others that you get from the missions arent even enough to hit pity, and you need to have asperagus to even clear some of those
You gonna have to shell out a lot of money if you want to get her to high promotions, and her artifact too, its kinda why a lotta people are unhappy with the game, which is fair, but, id be lying if i said this actually bothered me.
Candy drop is still the de facto best tagger, and plantain is still a serviceable wind tagger.
I managed to max out iris on launch beforehand, but i completly flubbed it with dew, but i still have my rockstar, so im still fine, and since theres no way in hell im getting wind asperagus, i decided to play catchup and build up other cookies. I gave my light squad a much needed power boost by building up my roti and i finally got around to build my mochi. Best decision ive made
Now as im in the process in getting all my dpses to skill level 12, it really does feel like ill never have any problems with single content ever again

Last time I tried to make cookies I had this idea I would theme the cookies and ended up making them mostly fondant and it ruined it. I could 3D print some cookie cutters but I really should get back to working on a 3D model so I can get back to fucking around in Unity instead

Maybe it's the type of cutter you're using. I looked at a couple websites and apparently there is a difference between cookie cutters and fondant cutters. Maybe a lighter cutter could help you out.

No, I mean more that I used a bunch of fondant because I couldn't figure out how to do details out of lighter frosting and only ended up with like one remotely passable looking cookie of the batch. I wonder if they make 3d printer pens but for icing or similar confectionery so I'm not struggling against overly runny icing
