Sorry, I mistook the conditional buffs you get from dupes as skills upgrades. Still kinda meh but not as bad. Just wish the game currencies wasn't so expensive since I don't want to spend 600 dollars a month like I did in past gachas anymore.

games like genshin and blue archive stagnate once you hit max level since they never add anything new. there's no progression since launch in either game, you're just puling new characters to replace your old characters so you can do the same thing you were doing since day one.
on the other hand cygames tend to keep adding more and more stuff so there's always something to look forward to and want to prepare for.
i imagine it'll take the genshin/ba route and be a worthless game but i hope not. i'll definitely send feedback about this

Pull cost and a lot of the grind was on par with most gacha during beta and then it was all doubled for launch.

I disagree, I'm going to talk about both games since I don't get if you're just talking about Stella here.
First, about Wizardry, it's a bit of a different case since the game is fully beatable with nameless 3* goons. You do get a fair bit of pulls if you consistently farm every bone spot every month, but that's still only "standard banner" characters.
IF you want a limited character, you're going to get one every 7ish months if you save up a spark.

About Stella, that's actually the opposite feeling people tend to get from new gacha. The term "honeymoon phase" exists because you do tend to get a lot of pulls early and then it dwindles down as you complete content.
Stella even in its honeymoon phase has a drought of pulls, which is crazy. The drought mainly exists because they -doubled- the pull price without increasing rewards, it didn't feel like this in the beta test.

No, they just announced a summer event instead. Some free rolls and paid summer outfits so now everyone's slurping the shit out of it and praising yostar because it's yostar and yostar always delivers.

If you were ever expecting for anything to get fixed, I'd say to curb your expectations since yostar seems pretty good at tardwrangling and squeezing money out of idiots.

I think they're overcompensating for something when designing characters, like trying to show how unique chink anime style is by adding numerous stuff that doesn't even make sense. Even in a moba game I play each asian characters released have soo many ornaments, leaves, waves, dragons in their clothes I roll my eyes with how obvious what they're doing.

Tried it out today since I'm not playing much else nowadays, was very very pleasantly surprised
